Heiian Society Event
The current violence on Caldari Prime has had the attention of the Heiian Society since it began. The increasing lack of concern for the ethnic Caldari by the Federation concerns us. In order to ensure that the ethnic Caldari living on their ancestral homeworld are not pushed off planet relief supplies are being assembled to ensure their basic needs.
The Heiian Society is taking a lead in collecting the relief materials from Caldari corporations for the ethnic Caldari on Caldari Prime and providing those Caldari wishing to leave with the means to do so.
Over the next 7 days the Heiian Society will be accepting donations from any corporations wishing to aid in the relief effort on Caldari Prime. These supplies will be collected at the Federal Administration Information Center above Caldari Prime, Luminaire star system. The following list of items will be accepted by the Heiian Society.
Consumer Products:
Antibiotics
Dairy Products
Frozen Food
Galeptos Medicine
Tea (Synthetic Coffee)
Water
Zemnar
Industrial Goods:
Polytextiles
Passengers:
Aid Worker (Janitor)
Security Personnel* (Marines)
Refugees
Archaeologists* (Science Graduates)
In order to donate any of the above items you can contract them to myself, Dex Nederland. I am acting as the Heiian Society's point of contact. The Heiian Society is more than happy to refund you the contracting fee, but no more than the 10,000 isk per contract. Please minimize the number of contracts you make.
*Security personnel will only be for protecting the relief supplies, keeping order amongst refugees, and protecting the aid workers and archaeologists. The Archaeologists are intended to aid in the recover of what can be from any Caldari archaeological sites that have been damaged and those that could be threatened.
I will update each day's totals of the listed items donated and which corporation donated the most that day. At the end of the 7 days a full list of all corporations taking part in providing relief to the Caldari on Caldari Prime will be published. The corporation the most will be noted and recieve the prestige that goes with having achieved that position.
The Heiian Society will also coordinate the transport of any ethnic Caldari wishing to return to a State Corporation. Any refugees wanting to escape the discrimination and violence in these times of increasing tension need only contact the Heiian Society to arrange transport (refugees contracted at the Station over Caldari Prime). The Heiian Society will even cover the cost of reaching the station (10,000 isk contract fee). Once there refugees will be able to board ships bound for Caldari space.

Nederland: I'm absolutely fine with an aid convoy. Really, I am. Just be sure that those marines you've repurposed into security personnel stick to their assigned tasks, and sa***uard the convoy. I will be unimpressed to the fifth extreme if I hear news about violence in any of the cities, or if I hear the phrase "peacekeeping operation".

I have delivered some supplies and funds.
The supplies represent all such humanitarian aid that my corporation can provide.
There are also some luxury goods which might help morale amongst the affected persons.
Finally there are 40 officers and 600 men to assist for the duration of the emergency.

I have personally established an office on the ground to help all Caldari citizens who wish to return to the State urgently to do so without the inherent costs and potential risks of public transportation.
A guarded transit area has been deployed on the spaceport, but I have not managed to obtain authorization to leave the spaceport area.
Caldari citizen of Caldari Prime, if you fear for your families, if you fear for your children, you can send them to Ekchuah Inc., we will do our best to protect them until the situation has calmed down.
My temporary office can be joined by local net on Caldari Prime, and if you fear going there without protection, while my men cannot protect you on the way, I believe the private security forces of Strix Armaments And Defence who do have permission to operate out of the spaceport can organize convoys or even help you evacuate if your planned destination is in the federation.
Regular convoys will be organized from ground to the abandoned station in orbit and then to the Caldari border zone via Heiian Society transport.
While I understand that most Caldari will chose to stay as I have already been notified firmly by community leaders, please do not let your pride transform you and your families into liabilities.

Any donations of ISK earmarked for relief will go to purchasing supplies under the name of the corporation you are part of or a corporation of your choosing. All supplies will be purchased by the Heiian Society will be from Caldari Provisions.

The security personnel are intended to protect the aid workers and archaeologist from any mobs. These are not Caldari Navy Marines, they are security personnel hired to protect those assisting in the relief work. Ekchuah Incorporated will be overseeing the ground operations along with Strix. The Heiian Society thanks Ekchuah Incorporated's continued efforts to provide relief to the Caldari on Caldari Prime.

I hereby offer defensive combat ship support to the Heiian Society. My vessels will be in mid and high orbits around Caldari Prime. We will monitor Caldari Prime net.

In the first day of providing relief to the Caldari on Caldari Prime the Heiian Society collected the following relief supplies.

The 600 security personnel will be under the command of the Security Professionals. ALL security personnel are restricted to the ships of those delivering supplies and the designated relief locations. The vast majority are being retained for ship security on refugee ships.

After 3 days on the ground on Caldari Prime negotiating directly with the federation Navy for each and every convoy, Ekchuah Incorporated managed to evacuate many Caldari with logistical support from the Heiian Society, despite many bureaucratic roadblocks and some Federal Navy armed intervention where one of our Badger class civilian vessels had to turn back under unprovoked fire.
I wish to thank all pod pilots and corporation who donated the resources making this operation a success.
While relief missions continue, the flow has slowed down to a trickle, most of the extracted are tourists and businessmen and the long term residents of Caldari Prime refuse proudly to leave their planet. We sincerely hope their courageous decision is the good one.
Now, after leaving Caldari Prime with the last large scale convoy, I learn that some Caldari are rioting against our Gallente hosts. Citizens, please remember that they are our hosts, our honor demands that we protect them! If you believe they are spies, notify the correct hierarchy, but do not dishonor your corporation by violating protocol
Unfortunately, the large scope of the riots renders bipartisan pod-pilot protection like on Caldari Prime much more difficult, but if Strix Armement and Defence wish to provide medical support and/or evacuation service to Gallente victims, Ekchuah Incorporated is ready to vouch for their humanitarian goals and provide observers and security for their operations, whatever the galnet provocations of some of their pilots.

At the request of the Caldari Navy, we are currently undergoing relief operations in the Luminaire system.
We are happy to announce, At approx 18:00 yesterday =6HI= arrived at New Caldari with our first shipment of security supplies and personnel for the defense of the Caldari people. These supplies were delivered successfully to the planet surface. Due to the classified nature of the operation I can provide no further details. I can tell you futher operations will commence as needed.

Please provide more details of this incident as such an attack would be a criminal act. Are you saying the Federation Navy fired upon an aid convoy? I find that difficult to believe.
As for your question on the Gallente within Caldari space, I have evacuated my staff after several were assaulted and have also offered passage to over one hundred and fifty Federation citizens who requested transport free-of-charge. However, as you correctly point out, it is a larger logistical effort due to the widespread nature of Federal expatriates.
What I do not think we need to encourage is a mass exodus from both nations. We will simply create a refugee problem that neither nation can cope with. |

In the second day (05.12) of the Heiian Society's relief effort we received a substantial donation from a single pod pilot and continued to get donations from corporations across the cluster.

The Heiian Society thanks the pod pilot Silver Night and his crew, who together provided more than 10,000,000 isk in aid. The funds from the crew covered the majority of the funding for the 2 Archaelogical teams.
The society also thanks Grind Management for the donation of construction materials, planetary vehicles for use by the aid teams, High-Tech Transmitters to allow those in need to contact family in the State and support material for these items as well.
Lastly, TalCorp Enterprises has made available 20 further security personnel. The society thanks them for their aid.
For those considering making a contribution, we have plenty of security personnel at the moment. What we lack is aid workers and scientist. Please keep this in mind. We are using some of the security personnel to assist the aid workers at this point.
While stability and order have returned to Caldari Prime in the wake of CEO Gariushi-haan's speech, the Heiian Society will continue to provide aid to the Caldari on Caldari Prime for through the 110.05.16.

The least I can do for our people Mr Nederland. I would like to add that I don't know that I have ever been more proud of my crew. My XO initiated a collection, and they raised over half a million isk. This may seem insignificant to a pod pilot, but that is a staggering amount for people on standard pay.
Keep up the good work Mr Nederland. Know that Caldari everywhere are behind you and the Heiian Society's efforts.
Edit: I've been reminded that I have a number of crew members, mostly Caldari but a few Gallente as well with family on the ground. I've forwarded some messages from them, and hope they can be relayed.

Sorry for the delayed report on the activities of 05.13.
Re-Awakened Technologies Inc donated 50 security professionals and 10 aid workers. The increased aid workers are especially helpful.
Locus Industries provided 10,000 units of Frozen Food, 10,000 units of Water, 50 Galeptos Medicine, and 20 long limbed roes. Additional, 150 aid worker teams arrived to distribute aid, with 20 security professionals & 30 security personnel. To support these personnel 20 planetary vehicles were also provided. Also, 20 archaeological teams arrived resulting in an increased ability for the Heiian Society to collect what remains at those sites attacked in the first night of violence.
Zero Zero Traders provided 22,500 units of water, 30 aid workers to distribute the supplies. ZZT also sent 10 more archaeological teams again allowing for increased effort at the recovery of what cultural wealth can be found.
To date we have 149 families currently seeking to return to the State. The Heiian Society is currently working to find employment for the families' heads.

On behalf of Zero Zero Traders, I would like to express our best wishes to all those affected by this tragic violence, both the Caldari on Caldari Prime and the Gallenteans in the State û along with all victims of ethnic violence everywhere. We are proud to offer what aid we can, and another convoy has arrived today with more aid workers, archeological teams, and non capsuleer versions of six cargo frigates and an industrial transport, to aid in any transportation needs.
We hope that the situation can be resolved without any farther violence, as well as without any farther damage to valuable archeologic sites, and will continue to try and help as we are able.
One small correction, however, yesterdayÆs shipment contained 12500 units of water and 10000 of basic foodstuffs, not 22500 units of water.

Today saw a huge donation of 25,000,000 million isk for aid to the Caldari on Caldari Prime. The Sansha Nation supporting pod pilot corporation, Naqam donated this amount to purchase supplies. With these funds 35000 units of Antibiotics, 28000 units of Frozen Food, 28000 units of Water, 14000 units of polytextiles, and 3 Archaeological teams. Also purchased were 3000 units of consumer electronics to help raise moral.
Naqam would like to remind people that "Stain is nice this time of year". However the Heiian Society would like to remind everyone that the Sansha Nation has come into conflict with the four main empires before regarding their use of implants within the general population.
ZZT contributed more today with 280 Aid Workers arriving along with 10 Archaeological teams. They arrived on 6 Bantam class frigates and 1 Bestower class industrial, which have been turned over to aid in the movement of supplies and moving refugees.
The Electus Matari alliance donated 642 units of Anitbiotics, 70 units of Dairy products, 16335 units of Frozen Food, 1900 units of Galeptos Medicine, 9790 units of water, 50 units of Zemnar, and 10 units of polytextiles. Arriving with the supplies were 81 aid worker teams and 10 security professional teams.
Lastly the new Caldari corporation Zero-G Independent Logistics supplied 10,000 units of frozen food, 10,000 units of water, and 100 units of Zemnar. An impressive showing on their part considering the corporatoins size and age.
As mentioned before we will continue to accept aid through the 16. I will give a total report on the aid recieved at that time. At the moment it would seem that Naqam has supplied by far the most aid followed by Zero Zero Traders.

This is simply a reminder that should any of the refugees from Caldari Prime wish for an option other than the State - for any reason - they may of course be welcomed into the new Nation. I feel it would be remiss of Naqam to not make this option available. Now, I realize that this additional humanitarian offer on our part will be controversial.
I understand where people might have a problem with it, given the Nation's history and perceived agenda. While I will give my personal guarantee - which I would like to think is worth something to those who have known me any length of time - that no harm will befall any who would take this option, I know people may still have a problem with it.
If you wish to discuss this, or the Nation in general, please make another thread. I've no wish to be the catalyst for the derailment of this thread, which is concerning the status of the Heiian Society's incredible relief efforts. Relief Operations are over. This is now an evac operation. All Heiian Society personnel and any refugees will need to be evacuated asap. The Society is no longer accepting relief aid.

ZZT will supply addition transport if we can, particularly for our own workers.
If the situation stabilizes, we hope to return, however, at this time staying would be a needless risk to the lives of our employees.
Once the situation is declared safe for civilians, we hope to aid in relief for the Malkalen system.

I apologize for any inconvenience but I evacuated all personnel to ensure their safety along with 149 families wishing to leave. All personnel are currently located in Isaziwa. Currently most of the equipment is still in Luminaire.

I currently have all the equipment on an open contract to be transported to Isaziwa by freighter. As of yet no one has taken the offer.
