People will look back in hindsight at a series of events that marked its decline but will ultimately I reckon pick when -A- reset standings not as the final nail, but as the arbitrary point after which there could be no return In the north, everyone was allied or neutral to each other, and it finally took the emergence of Insurgency to create more than one side with realistic prospects of victory in any conflict. Cue people piling in on both sides In general, more committed and organised (but not necessarily larger or "stronger") alliances continue to weed out those who are less able to defend themselves. Remember, no alliance ever fell from outside pressures but internal collapse 0.0 is currently in a consolidation phase where, for those that survive it, "what can't kill me, only makes me stronger" will ring true As per your topic on general discussion, there are still pleanty of places where lesser entities can still be supplanted by more 'professional' (?) outfits Ultimately though, some parts of the game have stagnated, especially POS warfare, where it is more a case of who can grit their teeth and stand it the longest winning out
