After failing to gank a carrier, the most awsome pilot in eve decides that in the absence of a ship with a recon probe (thanks loftia) to go looking for some fun by hasseling ratters in his Manticore of DOOM.
Setting out on such a adventure which many deemed to be futile and time consuming, the fearless warrior set out to find his fame and fortune. Many jumps later he came upon a system far far away, (where he found a dark blood the other day) and Noticed a Faildrake ratting in his belt.
Warping in at 100km and spewing forth a storm of Missiles he forced the mighty drake to go to a pos and sulk like a homo errotic carebear.
Deciding his job complete and after searching the belts for any dark bloods and finding none, the Fearless warrior warps to the gate and gets caught in a bubble that is being camped by a falcon. OH**** i thought, untll i realised the falcon didnt have backup so i proceeded to shoot some missiles in his general direction, in the comedic fashion that a solo falcon gate camp is. Upon taking it to armor in 2 vollies, the falcons reinforcements decide to join the fight. The fearless warrior, who was totally fearless decides that he should warp out then come back in at range and cloak. Upon seeing a HAWK and Falcon camping the gate, the saviour of the day uncloaked and kills the hawk (while sensor dampening the falcon) Unfortunetly the falcon gained a lock; although to late to save his friend, and jams the mighty manticore, forcing the pilot to warp away.
Upon returning onto the field , he noticed the hawk pilot had returned in a drake, and fighters were assigned to the falcon and drake. For the next 1 hr lots of cloak/uncloaking/warping out and in was done which forced the falcon multipe time to armor. Unfortunetly he repaired at the carrier multiple time. Backup arrived for the falcon/drake pilots that ressulted in a zealot but he was quickly bored and left. For the the next hour the only gain for the manticore pilot was 1 minor fighter. Nearing downtime with such haste the manticore pilot decided to tank the fighters and try to kill the falcon, even if it would sacrifice the mighty stealthbomber in the process.
Server shutdown in 1 min......

Oh wait i survived (warp away)
Pops to all pilots involved for staying around and having fun. Was a Blast!

The only possible explanation I can find for you not being permajammed is that the falcon pilot had failsauce in his eye.

Mantis are a pain to jam if you don't have caldari racials fitted.

Knowing Wierd Beard, he was probably more then a bit drunk too 
Oh and not to mention a ratting Drake doesnt' have 100km range ... and likly cant' close it before you would warp off.
Sensordampeners would keep the falcon from jamming, as I'm assuming your stealth bomnber owuld egt a faster lock. If still at 100km range, not much any of them can do till the range can be closed, which if the means wern't at hand ..then it wasnt' at hand. Add that in that a stealth bomber can warp away, back and cloak near instant and move pretty fast ... not the easiest ship to lock down :)
They're pretty fun to play with - good at harrassment, usually not much more.
No matter how fast you turn your head, you'll never even catch a glimpse of what is going on around you... |
