We too, the first two or three times... the fourth time it became "meh"... and by now it's not showing signs of getting any better

I don't get it.
Maybe it's because I never played any other MMO but I don't find EvE that hard to get into.

EvE is the only MMO I've managed to really get into since UO.

All the MMOs listed there hold your hand as you go along. You would have to be blind, deaf, and dumb to not know how to play those games. Most of the game play involve is simply point and click the same 1 or 2 buttons repeatedly until something dies. This is for both PVE and PVP.
Also, everything equipment wise is handed to you as you go along.
