It's a shuttle.
Everyone got one, but it's otherwise a ship that cannot be manufactured or acquired from the NPC's in any way. It was a one-time gift. Currently seems to be going at 9 million on the contract system, and there's a "let's gank them" tendency at all the suicide gate-camp spots.

For now keep it, sell it when people have started forgetting about them and there are less around due to ganks. The price will rocket.

Its a unique ship. It wont most likely never be handed out by CCP anymore. So in that aspect its rare. However, every character which have been subscribed on that day have got one shuttle, so yes, there are most likely 400k-500k of these shuttles available today.
How rare they will be in the future depends on people. If they are used carelessely then the number will dwindle maybe fast. Then they might be worth something. But my guess is people tend to keep them as a trophy. If they do, they will never be really valuable as people will stick to them.
What their salesprice will be? Have no clue at all. That remains to see, but dont expect anything static. These will sell at various prices depending on the buyer and the seller.
