I was bored of missioning so I designed the Simoon, a minmatar EWAR frigate.
My drawing skills suck a bit, but I know a couple things about perspective and some photoshop tricks, I think it looks good. The perspective on the scanners is a bit ****** up I know, but I did it in less than 1h (photoshop edition included) so I didn't really care about it.
I would like to know your opinions :D

Not bad for a beginning anyway, but I still think it needs more duct-tape and useless random parts to truly look like a minmatar ship. And a few more thrusters maybe.

Well since i put up my own rendition i guess it gives me the right to critique i guess.
First off it seems you may have drawn this picture without thumbnailing, which is basically drawing a small simple version of what you want your ship to look like before making the larger higher detailed one, the one you have there currently qualifies for thumbnail but not finished work so to say.
Second you already IDed the problem and its a problem i have myself in various aspects which is perspectives. You can practice by making a cube that has vanishing points and then drawing your ship within that cube for practice.
Next problem/issue is attempting a CG color without cleaning the picture, try tracing lightly with pencil of yoru picture without doing any shading and do all your coloring and shading once its on the computer. Or do your coloring and shading before the scanner and leave it alone there unless it to clean it up more or act as a smudge pallet which some lazy people do but it works in some cases. Remember dodge and burn are only good for glow effects shading is to be done with screen and multiply and you dont over blend and add color onto the shading to enhance the apperance of three dimension.
Althouth well defined there is slightly improper flow that throws off the viewing of the picture slightly. most of this occurs with the offset attena mounts which sprawl openly where the rest of the ship feels inline with itself.
An detailing, you got various minmatar aspects down but the fuesalage (main body) could need little help.
Hope this works out for you in improving your designs drawing and scketing.

If anything its too neat and tidy for minmatar. try welding another frigate onto the side at a weird angle and were good to go!
Seriously though. I liked it. better than my drawing skills.

Special thanks to Nova fox for his nice review, there are some important points in your post I'll be paying attention in my next attempts.
In fact, I'm drawing a new ship, I'll post it here later on.
For those that had to waste their "precious" time looking at my horrible drawing, I'm sorry, I'd give those 5 seconds back if I could, but I suggest you try to actually draw before posting. The argument "No need to be a chef to tell that food sucks" only works if you're paying for it. I'm not here offering a service, but instead learning and progressing.
So if you don't like it, move along or post the reasons in a constructive way, like Nova did.

Yes the perspective is off, but the design definitely looks minmatar . Would be good to see it redone in proper perspective later on if you get the time. Look forward to the next design.

Now, as a fellow artist I can tell you that anyone, have they ever drawn or not, is still totally able to tell if your drawing sucks or not. They don't have to justify it by being great artist themselves. That's just how this stuff works. Also, about every artist that has some time under his belt is going to disagree with your "Please draw first before saying bad stuff" unless the guy saying the bad stuff is obviously being hateful. Besides that, you're playing EVE, you should have some backbone on the social issues department.
On the other issue, you'd better off in some art related forum, learning and progressing, as Eve General discussion doesn't really cater to artists in any way.

All i have to say is i give it an 8/10, would like to see more, and also to all you troll's:
I heard there was a special going for bridges over in CAOD, if your quick you might get a good deal.
Just ignore the troll's, (I.e Derek 1337) they're obviously not important because anyone important in eve is polite enough to A. Post with a main and B. Post constructively and C. Wouldnt put 1337 in their name if they were being forced to or quit eve.
