Just and idea.
I think there is a market for a ship somewhere between the industrials and the freighter. Nothing fancy, just something that can handle about 200-300km3 (skill based) and be better at getting into warp that the freighters are, Ie, more agile and easier to align.
Suicide ganks make travelling with valuable cargo a æhands onÆ exercise. But not everything fits into an industrial and 30 odd jumps in a freighter is painful to say the least. I think the speed of the freighter going to warp is fine as it is for the desired application of the ship, but itÆs often like using a sledgehammer to ***** a nut. I feel there is room for something in between.
IÆm looking at this from a carebear point of view, rather than a 0.0 one (not involved in that side of things), so maybe it would cause too much imbalance in other areas?

Sounds like you are discribing the Jumpfreighter to me.

Sounds like you are discribing the Jumpfreighter to me.
i have a feeling he means something that doesnt cost 8 billion.

Small Frieghter Thread
It has been asked for for quite some time. The devs have never commented on why it has not been done. Many think the jump freighter was an attempt to address this gap but it kinda went the other direction.
