Looking for people who run level 3 or level 4 courier missions to list their average pay/LP gain/haul size/storyline haul size. You can give me ballpark figures. I realize this thread may not get many replies, but any contribution is appreciated.
Please use this template for your reply:

I've been grinding to get to level 4 agent with level 3 administrator agent that gives quite a lot courier missions.
System Security: 0.6 Agent level: 3 Agent quality: 4 Avg. mission pay(incl. bonus): 200k Avg. LP gain per mission: 250 Avg. haul size(m3): 600-800m3 Largest storyline haul so far: 2500m3
I seem to get this same storyline mission always, haul 20 small cargo containers or something to 4-5 jumps. Sometimes to low sec even, which is not a problem with a blockage runner. Reward is always the same: 1mil and 4mil bonus.

What's ure social skills ? 250 lp is kinda big, i get from a lvl 3 quality -18 100k total payment and about 50 LP, archives agent, wich is suppose to give courier and trade only, but they did give me once a kill and a mining mission, in, say, about 20 missions, wich is better than manufacturing !
I believe the best agents for doing courier missions are archives !

This and regular npc goods trading is whats lacking in eve.
These playstyles and career are simply not very viable given how little they earn. One would think in grand space empires, trading would be much more lucrative than fighting endless hordes of pirates from nowhere. |

Welcome to competing with macroers and sweatshop farmers. They can run dozens of clients at once, so over the span of 23 hours a day those 2 million/hour per session add up.

For one...while I could argue couriers could use a slight overhaul, I don't think running around hauling crap using nothing more than a large cargohold should be incredibly profitable.
as for trading...NPC goods aren't supposed to be profitable. Trade player-used stuff and you can make a boatload of profit. In fact, if you're good at it, trade is the most profitable profession.

Short of scams, unless that counts as trade.
Anyway, someone wrote a couple of lengthy posts about missions overhaul, where couriers were redone aswell, voiding the ability to afk them too much. The ideas are around and the mechanics are implented, it's just not happening yet.
For example ther were ideas such as reintroducing NPCs at gates, but having them A) No Bounty, B) Spawn upon entrance(faction navies anyone?) C) be of slight resistance. This would for one help people using MWD/Cloaks, give transport ships some extra love etc.
Another option is giving some really good storylines, shuttle an Enyo BPO-fake for your Pirate Faction, enjoy 15mil payout if you make it, but be aware there might be a player or five hundred along the road that wants to pop you.
Ships is another alternative. "Hey, this vexor is needed at the border, deliver it to Tama ASAP". Hop in it, fly it there. Or put it in a hauler and freight it there.
As I said, it was a lengthy post, but it did give some valuable ideas.
EDIT: Ugh, sorry, completely forgot about the OP. I will gather up some data as I get home and share here. Sorry.
