Don't want to join a corporation and deal with all that goes along with it? Want to be free to set your own hours, choose your own missions, be able to decide what is best for your career, put your hard earned ISK in your own pocket rather than someone elses? You are definitely a freelancer.
Now, let me ask you this, How are you going to be competitive in a Universe that is controlled by Mega Corporations and the almighty ISK?
You need access to the right resources but, finding all the resources and information on your own will leave you with no time for actual missions. Don't worry, this is a common problem for all freelancers and has a very simple solution.
As a member of the FLC you will have access to the resources that you need to have a fun and successful career in the Eve Universe. We are not an ingame Corp, but a group of freelancers who share information with each other and conduct gang ops from time to time. Participation in any and all activities is strictly voluntary.
As our motto states, we as freelancers have The Freedom To Excel in whatever areas we individually choose and, as a coalition of freelancers we have The Power To Succeed in areas that we might fail, or barely scrape by, on our own.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to establish a coalition of freelance pilots that spans all races, genders, alignments, occupations, skill levels, systems, and work hours.
The purpose behind this is, to provide freelancers with, as well as, allow them to provide each other with the resources necessary to improve their skills, knowledge, and wealth at a more advanced pace than they would be able to achieve this, on their own. After all, as freelancers our primary objective is to advance our careers, here in Eve, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We are well on the way to accomplishing our mission, with over 80 members currently and more joining daily. I think the success of our members speaks well enough for itself.

Well all, I would like to report that the FLC now has over 100 members.
I think this is a great milestone and am myself quite happily surprised that we have grown so quickly in our few short months of existence.
For those of you who are, or may be concidering becoming a freelancer, stop by the site and/or the ingame channel "FLC" and check us out. Whatever your style of gameplay, schedule, occupation, race, gender and goals, you are sure to find others of a like mind in our coalition. Just because we are loners, doesn't mean we have to be alone in this vast and often daunting Universe.

[The great thing about the FLC is the diversity of the membership. We have Freelancers from all over the Galaxy and many different time zones. Many of us are active traders and the benefit of having someone you know and can trust check on prices for a certain item or Mineral in The Forge region while you're in the Molden Heath is simply priceless!
If you're looking for a community to chat with on those long trips or need some back up when foraying into low security space, then FLC is the place to be. Freelancing, or even small corporations, offer the most freedom of gameplay in the world of Eve. When I log on I ask myself, "Self, what do I feel like doing today? Pirate Hunting? Exploring?" Not, "What does my Corporation what me to do today!"
Even the ,most diehard Freelancer needs help and even companionship though. That's were the FLC comes in. So if your a Freelancer looking for like minded adventurers or a Corporation looking for a few extra pilots on the short term, drop by the FLC in game channel or drop a post on the FLC website using the link in the original post above.
You watch my pod and I'll watch yours!

You raise and interesting point, however, I can assure you we are Nothing like the Stain, Fountain or Venal "Alliances".
An insult such as this only proves that you read nothing describing what we are about and merely needed to flame someone and thus graced us with your reply. Thank you so much for keeping this post on the 1st page longer.
We do not control, nor do we plan to control any regions of space. We are not an Alliance of Mega Corps or any corps for that matter, but merely a Coalition of Freelance pilots who share knowledge and help each other out when we can. We also have many members who are in small corps, but are the only ones from their corp that are ingame during their normal game time.
You see, we exist only to provide freelancers with some of the benefits that they miss out on by not being in a corporation (ie. someone to talk to while conducting their business, the knowledge of many rather than of one, and contact with others in the same area at the same time who may be able to help out in a time of need.
Your opinion, as well as that of anyone else, is always welcome, but please make sure you have all the facts before you start insulting someone with such short sighted comparisons.

I wasn't Flaming your post. I think your getting a little edgy. It honestly looks like a coalition. Now if you say that your freelance whatever doesn't stand for that. Then it doesn't. If you feel that your were insulted then you have thin skin. But thank you for correcting me. And your welcome. We passed the 150 member milestone during the weekend and are still growing. Not too bad at all, concidering we had less than 15 members at the time of release.

Most corps that grow to big, to fast will find themselves in chaos and disorganization very fast. A good corps isnt just about number of members, but about activity, community and what the members of the corp got in common. Join a corp with xxxx members and become one of many? Thanks but no thanks. Think I would dread have so many people on a teamspeak server as an example
