I'm ethnically Gallente, born and raised on Luminaire, but I live and work in the Caldari State. I'm the founder of a new startup in Lonetrek, as it happens, and I don't plan to leave. I like it here, and I admire my dilligent and hardworking Caldari colleagues. I, like many of my countrymen, deplore today's incident, and have nothing but sympathy for the dead and their families.
I also want to participate in the relief effort, but I'm concerned -- if I head out to Malkalen in an Iteron, am I going to get podded? I mean, for me it's just a few million isk if I get podded, but I don't want to risk my crew. Does anyone have any information on the security situation out there right now? Has CONCORD gotten off their duff? And where the hell was CONCORD when this went down, anyway?

Just get down here. We're short-handed enough as it is. The Caldari down here don't care who helps them at the moment - they just need help, in whatever form. Incidentally, in case anyone's wondering how I got here, just don't ask. There's a lot of help needed and not enough people to do it.

All help will be appreciated. I am currently at the site and there is an Astarte, a Megathrone, a couple of Iterons right next to me. There seems to be no problem with the Gallenteans helping with the current situation.
Be advised however that there are people there who will want to buy the supplies you will be delivering for themselves, not the victims of the tragedy. Bring you convoy in and leave the materials until Ishukone has issued new Relief Operation buy orders. Judging by the horrid inferno at the damaged station the help will be needed.

So does greed and vanity, looking at those who seek their own profit in this tragedy. Then also anger and fear blind judgement of those to weak to see past the race and see a fellow human. All that is put to a most dreadful test after this day.

I'm sad to report that I actually was fired upon while on final approach to the station in an unarmed hauler by a Civire extremist. Thankfully the many pod pilots in space around me responded quickly and destroyed my attacker before he could do serious harm. Be careful, ladies and gentlemen.
