Although replace 'London' with 'Belfast', and 'tube station' with 'street corner'...

This, tbqh. Also, I had a dream once that I was driving a Drake down the freeway and rolled it. It's weird cuz I've only ever flown the Drake once in-game and absolutely hated it. ________________________________________

What were you trying so hard to get away from that you had to do a barrel roll in a Drake?

Well, if you live in Iceland there really isn't an issue with that.
For me, I find that when I start getting stressed out over in-game events (dealing with wars, large sell and buy orders, did I remember to refuel the POS, etc.) it's time to set a long skill train and take a break.

You know you've been playing EVE too long when you go to your other MMO and wonder why you can't find any good gear on the AH, why there are no new skill to train on your character sheet, and wonder why fishing is still at 130/375 when you're sure that's where it was last week when you logged out.
You know you've been playing EVE too long when someone does a risk analysis report on a new project, and you are already prepping your "go back to WoW" comeback, before realising that the guy actually wants the project to go ahead and is already planning a risk management strategy, and the first strategy you can think of is rolling more alts to watch gate traffic.

Taking one from RL.
When in town during weekend nights I from time to time percieve groups of drunken lads who might be looking for a fight as blobs and then checks the street for the nearest warpout points in case they aggress and if I see cops around I consider myself in hi-sec and guess I am not going to be suicide ganked unless I make it worth their while.

You know you've been playing Eve too long when a friend says that he just bought a Jaguar, and you reply "Why do want something that serves no real purpose?"
Later you realize that he was talking about his new car.

Edited by: Jmanis Catharg on 20/05/2008 01:19:22 Although I claim much embarrasment admitting this, here's a pretty good indication.
I had a dream last night that I went off to some sort of laser-skirmish game with a bunch of mates. It was set over a variety of arenas on an old military base. It was pretty fun, but I remember in the dream, after what felt like an hour of running over hills, through bushes etc. I felt I wasn't tagging people fast enough, and not getting enough points.
So I've left the area, taken off my sensor vest (y'know, the thing that detects when you get shot),, next thing I know I've flown overhead of where we were playing in a Raven fitted with Mega Pulse Lasers, tagging everyone in sight.
Surprisingly, my teammates said "Hey, that's totally cool. Y'know, there's some military cadets in another area over that fence, you should go shoot them up too!". So I "warped" there (cmon, it was a couple hundred meters!), but to my surprise the cadets had set up large bubbles on the ground, and there was hundreds of them.
The rest is a bit of a blur before I woke up, but I remember my tank started to break, but I got away, which impressed my teammates even more. Dream concluded with me sneaking into the cadet's barracks, stealing a packet of dim-sims from their freezer and yelling "Yarrr! Couldn't even take down a bubbled raven with a hundred of you!"
Uh,,
Yeah,,,

EDIT: And for some reason, it's a bit disjointed, but I get the feeling a Fire Station set in ye olde England, Call of Duty and Quad Damage were involved too,, though I have no idea why. They were just on my mind when I woke up,,,

During a team meeting recently my boss was talking about some work we had on a fair distance away.
I initally asked "so how many jumps is that?" But had the good fortune to escape undetected due to a TII throat mucus build up.

The Philly Market-Frankford El line's automated voice ("Doors are Closing. Doors are Opening...") always reminds me of Aura. I expect to hear "warp drive active" every time it starts moving
... and sometimes it isn't synched to the right stops and announces the wrong waypoints... and you realize you just thought "waypoints..."
... and then you think "omg autopilot's broke."
