CCP, get every dev you can to support this =D
Besides, if you all makes accounts then it'll be that much easier to get the whole company to support subsequent EVE designs on the site in teh future xD

If LEGO wanted to make the Hurricane and kept its name as well as linking EVE on the packaging (box/bag) to the model design. Then it can only be good for CCP.
But of course CCP would still have to agree, but I'd see no reason not to. |

You have no idea how hard it was to make those giant continuous armor plates that are upside down in that picture.
The creator has two modes, free form kind of thing and "creator" where "creator" mode is for if you plan to actually make it a custom kit, and "creator" mode barely has half as many parts to work with. But somehow I made those armor plates out of dozens smaller parts with two layers overlapping each other.
The result is that looking directly at it it looks like a continuous shade of brown while maintaining the shape of the dorsal armor plates AND having some decent structure to them. Obviously it's ill-advised to say the least, to throw any lego creation at a wall or to drop it from a desk to the floor but at least she can stand firly decently on her own =D

Due to their design, the Minmatar ships are probably the easiest to replicate using LEGOs, with the Caldari shortly after on that list. Amarr and Gallente... not so much.
Could probably build a hulk too. Sell it in a kit with a Thrasher and some plastic explosive.

You can cheat curves with hinges and the like, there's a lego tristan floating around google.
More supporters needed! Registering is a pain and I didnt bother at first but seeing the supporters jump for 14 to 200+ overnight was inspiring enough.

So the supporters have more than doubled given another day but 21,608 views has only produced 500 supporters.
Sucks having to sign up for stuff... if you want eve lego, or have a vague interest in others having it now is the time. I know theres nothing stopping those interested in re-creating these doing it ourselves, with no input needed from anyone else but it would be nice to show the world the Eve community can get stuff done..

If CCP somehow got a deal with LEGO to make their ships as sets, I would so get them all.
On the downside... frigates could not be scale to the Titans... well, not without a hanger to build them in. |

I immediately supported the rifter, space marines and the jawa sandcrawler.
I was a bit worried about copyright but I guess no one cares.
Minecraft set costs $35 and looks a lot less complicated than the rifter. I'm not sure I can justify paying $30-50 on a lego set, would be nice if I could get it with plex :) |
