oddly enough, quinine from tonic water helps with twitching eyelids
it's not immediate, though
you could try bananas (potassium), water (dehydration) or just stick your finger over it for a time :) |

Mr. Friendly's suggestion of water and bananas seem to be good advice. Bananas have Magnesium, which when you are deficient can cause muscle twitches. I sometimes have muscle twitches which are resolved by drinking water and avoiding caffeine.

My right eyelid and/or eyebrow twitched on and off for a couple of weeks about, um, ten years ago. Didn't do anything about it and it went away by itself. Came and went once more a few years later, and so, mere hours before you started this thread it came back a third time. Strange coincidence, don't you think?
Been thinking about it but I can't find any pattern to it, be it eye strain or diet or whathaveyou, so my conclusion is that these things Just HappenÖ. Sure it's annoying but just relax and maybe get some rest and it'll probably sort itself out. Drinking lots of water and eating fruit is always a good idea, so do that too.

It can also be a sign of stress, I suffer from it as well.
I tend to self medicate with Northern Light or a touch of Strawberry cough...
