Is there one? I paid 19.95 for setting this game up and I'd like to see some sort of comprehensive documentation about this game that isn't in Q & A format. __________________________________________________

Not really...was looking for something that basically lays out the game for you like a traditional manual...not a bunch a questions and answers... __________________________________________________

the game keeps changing so any manual is soon out of date. The only way to learn is to ask on the corp and help channel. Don't ask questions that can be answered by finding the item on the market and doing show info as this will result in long time members of the corp leaving to join other corps as you are annoying them

It's kinda like real life there is no real manual. That's why I like it so much, I've played for 3 months and I still don't know everything about the content of the game, let alone PvP skills or the best loadouts.
I've been playing games since the zx81 and this is by far the best I have ever played - horace goes sking - manic miner - atic atac - lords of midnight - valhalla - elite - terra nova - age of empires - dungeon keeper - unreal tournament they all had it, that thing that moves a good game to a great game and Eve has bags of it.
The scope of this game is phenomenal I think a comprehensive manual would spoil it.

Paper manuals are expensive to print and ship, contain typos, and are out of date before the end of beta. --------- Kitten Hearder Evolution made my sig Less Entertaining than your's. |

Also, the paper manual that shipped with this game was really bad. Already at the time of release, the manual was in many cases inaccurate, misleading or completely wrong. Trust me, you're better off reading the FAQ and joining the in-game help channel.

Well there is a manual. It shipped with the game and a pdf copy can be found at:
http://sasrecon.org/gwyn/eveman.pdf
but its so hopelessly out of date I'd follow the advise and go to the forums and faqs.
Cheers,

I have spent the past few hours reading through threads on this board, reading through the FAQ, etc. and to be quite honest, I found the manual quite helpful...
Many of the threads posted here allude to game traits, but don't spell out the extremem basics.
Thanks for posting the link.
