I invented a tech 2 hammerhead BPC from a max run tech 1 BPC. The T2 BPC's attributes were 10 runs and a production limit of 100. I manufactured 10 Hammerhead IIs at a NPC station using the invented T2 BPC and now the BPC is gone. This doesn't make sense to me. I'm assuming I should have 9 runs left with a production limit of 90. Even if those numbers are not correct, the BPC should not be missing.
I checked it under my assets and under the blueprints tab under Science and Tech. I did get the 10 Hammerhead IIs when I delivered the job.
Is this something that I should petition? |

Sry your mistaken production limit isn't the total number of runs you can make with that bpc, its the limit of the number of runs you can make in a single installation.
for example if I had a bpc that said 100 production limit and 1000 runs I could only make 100 runs in one installation afterwhich i'd have 100 production limit and 900 runs remaining and i'd have to install it again in a new slot to do another 100 runs.
you manufactured 10 runs and that was all your bpc had thus the bpc went poof when the job completed |

production limit listed on any bpc's is the max runs that bpc CAN be.
the production runs remaining is how many runs is left on the bpc, ergo how many items/runs you can produce |

No, not really.
Production runs - How many you can produce - AT ONCE - IE...on job.
Manufacturing runs - How many you can produce in total. |

Ok. I think I understand. So basically the production limit of 100 is meaningless when it comes to manufacturing. Essentially my T2 drone BPC is only good for making 10 drones MAX.
