Aside for the money point (a very good point) there's always the competence factor. Yes, you can be bigger, badder and more defended on a BS but if you simply drive her without any skill is better to stick on a frig.
I've most gunnery, elec and engeneering skills at 4 but I'm hesitating on taking a BS since because I prefer battling in frigs and cruisers.

I had minimum sp at the time. I just want tobe in the battleship so i can mine faster.
I also feel more secure hunting npc in the bs. That was july of last year and I never insured it. Only a handful of peeps fly bs then. I made money to buy bs from buying and selling miner 2!

I have 11.5millions skill points & I still fly around in Interceptors.
Get in quick & I can take out 250k rats no problem.
I have 2 battleships: Dominix & Apocolypse.
They rarely come out to play now. But when they do it's usually with the Dominix as i have drone int lvl 4 & Gallante Battleship lvl 4 so i can quite happily use 13 drones as well as weapons.
But overall it's your choice to make.

been 2 months since i made this post.
well since its been reactivated...ive since bought 3 BSs...killed 4 times the amount...and am loving it (ive had a BS for over a month, and can fly Gal, Cal, And Min.)
