It has been discussed many times before but the speed at which and options for regaining sec within eve are not comparative to how simple it is to lose it. Something which would be good to have looked at, including being able to run missions for the penal agent and earn nothing but sec back etc, these agents would obviously be low sec and come with the usual risks of being ganked.

Edited by: Canyon Dotmid on 22/05/2008 15:02:37 I don't know, I've never had much trouble ratting sec back up. I think the speed is about right. Of course if you make yourself -10 you're really making a decision for yourself that is sort of long term.

I would support this just because a revision of the sec status mechanics is due for long time already. --- SIG --- CSM: your support is needed ! |

Seems about right to me, it should not be too easy to rat your sec status back up. I've done it once from -10 but the game is supposed to have painful consequences. The idea of an extra mission based system might have merit though, not everyone has easy access to battleship rats. I'm conflicted.

I am against it. High sec crime should be even more punished than it is today. Maybe low sec crimes should be less penalized. I suggest revisiting the sec status losing system instead of boosting the status gain.
First alternate to CSM.

I believe that gaining sec from -10 should be faster then it is now but they shouldnt change losing of sec.

at -10 you gain 2x more ss increse that on 0.0ss i dont see problem with it. Only painfull is that each ss increse is every 10 minutes. It should be instant for killing rats.
