So i was sitting in my agents station chatting to friends when some random player convos me out of the blue. I decide to not accept and instead take some time to check if his corp is at war with anyone, and to my great joy i find out that he is in fact a scammer with a buddy or an alt in a 1 man corp that is at war with him (classic scam-fleet ur target which gives anyone at war with you rights to shoot them on sight).
So i convo him back while i swap ships to the pvp ship i set up just for situations like this :)

Mr. Scammer > hey, need help in a mission called the blockade, you can help me? my dps are not enough =/
J'har > where at?
Mr. Scammer > here in dodixie
J'har > hm i guess i have time
(at this point i decide to feed him some bad info to throw him off)
J'har > want me to bring a sniper?
J'har > and u tank?
Mr. Scammer > can u tank?
J'har > id prefer to snipe
Mr. Scammer > ok
J'har > ill bring mega beams
J'har > for long range
J'har > and you tank ok

So i undock in my gankathron and am fleet warped right away to a rokh waiting for me. I wait a second for the rokh to engage and then i unleash the full furry that is the neutron blaster fitted gankathron. Right away the scammer convos me demanding ransom while not noticing yet that his shields and armor are melting at an unusual rate.
(he convos me in the hopes of demanding a ransom on my ship)

The whole fight lasted less than 1 minute, but that dosent make it any less sweet :)
And for the grand finale: After i blew him up, the guy tryed to convince local that i was the scammer and him the victim haha. He did say gf later which was sort of out of character for him but still a nice gesture i guess.
All in all i had a good laugh and loads of fun (and about 8mil in loot), so thank you mr. scammer :)

Very nice J'har, always great to see people fight back rather than cry that they were tricked.
Killmail was unneeded though and added nothing to the post, prehaps if it was also very bad but even then that's not the focus of your thread.

Nos/Torp Rokh used to be a very viable set-up before the Nos Nerf. An old corpie would chew through things like a beast in it. No idea how well it works now with a nos/neut mix. Probably slightly less tank due to nos, but better gank with the torp buff.

But back to the point...The original scammer had a dominix that i guess he was going to remote boost the rokh with which could have spelled trouble for me... But for some reson he warped in late and apparently didnt manage to lock and start boosting before it was all over.

Yeah that could have been bad, my money says the guy was running two accounts and had to tackle you with 1 before he could bring in the other. His overconfidence on that convo didn't help either. Almost too bad, for my money it cost you a domi kill.

Was not hitting me that hard. By the end he had taken out my shields and around 5k armor hp (which is around 15% of my megas armor). He also didnt warp his pod out, but i didnt destroy it as i was not 100% that concord would alow it or not. Either he was waiting for me to attack it and get concordoked or he was just in shock heh.
