Just cancelled my accounts, got bored to pay 15Ç a month, and nothing taken into account to compensate the $ devaluation.
Hope someday CCP will move for this.
And for spammers, have a look at what nc soft did in CoH to stop them:
Trial Account Limitations
Trial Accounts now have the following restrictions. Characters on Trial Accounts may not:
Hold more than 50,000 Influence/Infamy
Join a Supergroup
Use any chat other than /local, /team,or /friend.
Invite characters into a Team (although Trial Account characters can join a team)
Use In-Game Mail
Think it wouldn't be so hard to get rid of those pests, huh ?

Why should you pay less just because the $ devaluates? If anything, the poor seps should pay more… and now they do. Everyone's happy!

There's nothing wrong with trial accounts, they help EVE grow. And there are plenty of restrictions on them.

Have you actually checked what a trial account can't do in EVE ?
Essentially a hell of a lot ...
The very fact that CCP stopped them from sending ISK or using Contracts was a massive nail in the foot. Anyway, best of luck elsewhere - EVE has the lowest proportion of so-called 'gold'spam to any other MMO I've played; ymmv ...
Just out of interest, why do you think that an Icelandic company should care about dollar devaluation?
