Well i've been playing EVE since 12/5/2003 and i have 11.260.000 skill points
Now and then i forget to change skills and i estimate having lost about 10 days (total) of training.

Started in may of 03, played for my full 6 months + 1 month free, and took an indefinate hietus, I'm back now and started working on ym skills and things agin, so yeah I'm a bit behind but here goes:
2,987,313 skill points total (missed around 5 months, give me a break heheh).
Interceptor skill will be ready soon though WWOHOO! something to waste money on! I love expensive toys :)
Current ISK in bank: just under 14 million.
Total hypothetical Net worth, should I liquidate it all (not counting what I beleive I am still owed which i may or may not get in thenear future): Aprox 40 million ISK total give or take 10 million depending on the markets mood, and so on. Mostly in the form of ships, rare(ish) looted modules (I'm not a consumer of rares... You lose em I sell em back to you, thats how it works for me), and probably not much in processed minerals lying around, though If I recuycled all the modules I own not counting the stuff I'm trying to get sold, I'd probably have another million or so in minerals. There is also talk of blueprints and whatnot, which factor into everything :)
So yeah, I'm doing ok... But I must ask though maybe I don't want to know... How is it you managed to only lose a total of a combined 10 days of training time? I'm impressed! Even if I hadn't quit, I think I was already pushing nearly 20 days of missed training time total.
I'd keep oversleeping or having to go to work and not being able to set a skill to train LOL.

I've spent a lot of time training perception-based skills even though I have a crap perc attribute; this means I don't have as many sp's as many other characters of similar age. I'll really start catching up now though because I'm hitting the engineering/electronic skills hard from now on

10.2 mil SP, born 2003/05/15. Could be a lot better if I was in beta 1 more week to learn what the skills in the category "Learning" did a bit earlier. 
I have about 30k in Industry and a damn lot in gunnery/electronics/engineering/missiles though, so I'm happy anyway

Training Time pool is a wanted feature by a lot of peoples.
Perhap a training penality pool would be great or a maximum of time pool.
Like 24-72h max pool.
Or 7 day pool, but each lost minute worth 80% of a minute. So it will still be a loss for people that forget to switch !

If it is December 5, 2003 you are full of sh!t! Nobody can have 11,260,000 skill points in that short of time.

The total skill point amount is higher because the game doesnt like to update total skill point until you finish training a skill or change training of a skill. Level 5 skills are Electronics, Drones, Gunnery, Large Projectile, Small projectile, Rapid Firing, Surgical Strike, Mechanic, Missle Launcher Operation, Navigation, Science, Minmatar Frigate, and currently training Minmatar Battleship 5 with 13days 5 hours, 52 minutes left to go.

No way you have 11mill skill points if you've only been playing for five months.
12/5/2003 - 1/5/2004 = 1 month
1/5/2004 - 2/5/2004 = 2 month
2/5/2004 - 3/5/2004 = 3 month
3/5/2004 - 4/5/2004 = 4 month
4/5/2004 - 5/5/2004 = 5 month
Guess you probably meant 5/12/2003 though.. 
I was in Beta for a couple months. And although my in-game employment history says differently, i've been playing since June 2003.. After release, I started exactly 1 month after everyone else. People were just getting into cruisers back then.
I currently have 118 skills and 10,845,511 skill points.
I've probably lost a good week worth of training time because of my own doing. And about a day and a half due to EVE stuck systems and skill bugs.
The day that CCP completed everyones currently training skill. They maybe helped me out by 6 hours tops with that. Should of been training something else!
How much you wanna bet I miss out on any anniversary prizes because I started playing a month late.

5/12 or 12/5 are both valid, depending on one's region. US civilian useage is mm-dd-yyyy, but I believe everywhere else (including the US military) is dd-mm-yyyy. In fact, once in high school, I correctly identified that a secretary was formerly US military by the fact that she dated a document dd-mm-yyyy. ;)
That said, 12/5/2003 would be 12 May 2003, or about five, six days after launch, right?
