As the title say the time for accepting missions has changed in Sisi. Initially I thought it was only for the militia missions, but after checking with some normal agent, the warning is always:
If you ask your agent for a mission, he/she will be disappointed if you let him/her down and lower his/her standings towards you, no matter whether you do so by ignoring or declining his/her mission. You have 24 hours to accept or decline the mission once it has been offered. If you lose enough standings, you will no longer be able to talk to your agent
I am testing if the timer is right or a error in the warning leaving a mission from a normal agent to expire.

Considering that this game is suppose to be "Real Life" friendly, this would be a bad change.

Especially if you consider that the 24 hous limit probably would be applyed to storilines and missions with multiple episodes in them.
Currently you have a week (total) to accepr every mission in the 10 episodes storylines, moving that to 24 hours mean doing 9 missions in 24 hours at least.
Add to that the fact that the mail signaling the offered storyline is not istantaneous. More than once I have completed and delivered a mission, the called it a day and logged out, to discover the next day that after some minutes a storyline mail had been sent. If I have 7 days that isn't a problem, but if the timer is at 24 hour it will be a failed mission if I take a week and away from EVE.

I actually got this warning on TQ as well. I freaked out a bit that they had changed accepting a mission to 24 hours, but my journal showed that I had the traditional week. What is the acceptance timer show on sisi? -------------------

It maybe a problem but with regular missions complete say part 1 and don't speak to the agent for part 2 until you're ready to do it.
Story lines will be a problem though like you said. ---------

Yeah it is the same on TQ, most likely a bug in the popup. Unless on Sisi the journal also only shows a 24 hr window now?

Years ago you used to have only 24 hours to respond, maybe it is a remnant from that time?
Or maybe a return to it, though many will not like that. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute |

The journal seem to support the 7 days for all the mission, but is strange as after asking a mission yesterday and leaving it to rst till this morning, I had a time to completion of 13 hours and some minute (not the bonus time, that was less than 40 minutes).
waiting to see what will happen in 24 hour to the open missions.

If you accepted a mission, maybe it is 24h?
If the mission is only proposed it is 7days.

I was unclear, I requested a mission at about 19.00 EVE time, fund it was interesting but didn't wanted to run it, so I left it non accepted.
I accepted it at 5.30 AM EVE time or so and started the mission, The completion's timer was at about 13 hours 30 minutes.
So it seem it is 24 hours from the time you ask the mission: I hope it was a error on my part as it would be a further restriction, removing the possibility to ask a mission in advance.

Edited by: Venkul Mul on 25/05/2008 11:01:30 Last update: I was mostly wrong, waiting to accept missions don't change anything and you have 7 days (or at least more than 45 hours, the time I waited) to get a mission).
On the other hand the time to complete it (after accepting) is 13 hours 30 minutes (at least for level 1 missions).
Edit: just to be clear. Total time for completion, bonus is around 40 minutes for this mission.
