Seeing as Eve-online will be a year old on thursday, I was wondering if old timers like myself who have been here since day one will be getting any rewards. Which would be very nice after the very poor chritmas where we didnt receive any thing.
I play Star Wars Galaxies aswell and at christmas any one who had been playing since 3 weeks before christmas received a peice of art and a Holo (A holo is used to learn how to become a jedi and were worth alot of credits at the time).
So please please reward us I mean we all fork out ten bucks a month to ya. A little generosity would'nt go a miss.:)
P.S Eve rules over star wars any day :)

I think anyone who has been playing for 3 months should get something but anyone who has played for more then that and helped Eve get to where it is today should get something extra special :)

Yes, I think a cookie would be nice.
Although, it would be nice to have some cataclysmic game events happen on that day.... Something like the Jovians re-appearing in Empire space or a huge war starting between several of the factions.

How about the first Player owned corp ? I Think it was Colossus Technologies born on the day of release !
As soon as the servers were Live, the Ctec guys were mining omber in Bouryness and the first office was created there.

I was one of the first to log in to the server, maybe 5 seconds or so after the game went live :)

Can't remember the exact date I started, but it was in the first week of release. I remember because there was a release offer on the software at the local game shop :)

Eve wasnt available here in the states until two days after it went live...I hope this is taken into account if they do decide to do something.
Anybody remember the big freakin deal everybody was making about it on the beta boards?

Yeah... I actually bought boxes in the UK for a friend in South Africa heh...
I had 2 accounts from day 1 of retail although I couldnt use my 2nd account for a day or so because using the same email addy b0rked the registration software at CCP.
Oh yeah and for those people mining on day one... Me, Stavros and Riddari were ninja mining Ark about an hour after launch to get a Punisher BP heh.

365 days do not maketh a year whilst you are in deep space, that only applies down here on good 'ol Planet Earth

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but i can't be arsed reading the other posts, I reckon there should be a little pressie for EVERYONE like a day on EVE where every zone is a 1.0 which means that ppl can mine in the lower zones for more rarer minerals without getting blown up, Or every item listed on the Market is half-price for the whole day.

whats all that fuss about eve being 1 year old? mankind first set foot to this galaxy about 15355 years ago...
and as in eve there is no christmas or other terran holidays , why should they be celebrated..
this was one of the things i found most anoying in other mmorpgs... the christmas trees in ultima online, or the pumpkin chucker in enb... it sooo spoiled the imersion with the game world....
IF anyone should get a birthdaypresent, its the devs for staying loyal to the game and community, despite the tons of abuses and rants that have been hurled at them in the past year.

back on topic, im happy eve now exists for one year, but this shouldn't have any ingame effect.... fine, there are people that do not roleplay, but all these bonus items that most of the time do not have any logical reason from an in game view can spoil the game big time for any role player...
