EVE and the words "customer service" have never really gone hand in hand
I can only comment on the total lack of respect and the disregard for the paying customer that has been afford to me. Is it that the GM's are not up to the job in hand or that the training they have recieved is so sub standard that they dont know any better ?
How many times would you expect to ask the same question and recieve a reply ? One, two, ten , twenty ? How many GM's does it take to forward on a compliant ? Obviously more than are emplyed by CCP at the moment because nothing was ever forwarded
I will recieve more response to this post than any petition or email has over the past week. The simple matter that the post will be closed is all the answer that is required. There I have answered my own question, the GM's spend all their time policing the forums........
If most of the players carried out their jobs in the same manner as CCP treat their customers, then they would all be out of a job
I wonder what is written on the customer charter, the same charter that should be pinned above the work station's to remind all employee's ? We aim to deliver our promises to our customers, not likely. I could use stronger lanuage but to do so may be disrespectful to at least some of the employee's who turn up and perhaps try
Time to move on, I perhaps have spent too much time playing EVE, a combined 29 years over 6 paying accounts. I may get the chance to post in the same fashion on the forums with the remaining 5 before they are cast a drift in space
I would like to say this is an emo rage quit forum post but diappointment sums up my feelings more than anything else

Agreed, OP. The last petition I sent in was a covert cruiser kill where the cloak didnt work. The CSR pretty much agreed, it was broken but there was'n't anything they could do. CCP glorify the irresponsible to the enth degree.
Most games they would just give you back your **** and end it at that when the situation wasn't crystal clear. We should shrug loss, it's only a video game but they can't shrug replacement for some ****** balance crap excuse in the game.
GL finding a real video game, OP. Emphasize "GAME" in there and not a life sucking career for addicts and suicide extremists. |

They just posted their response times and the figures were great, only a tiny percentage takes longer than expected. My personal experiences with customer service confirm this, they reply fast and professionally.
You, on the other hand, sound like a pathetic whiner, and nobody owes you any respect or needs to give a **** how you feel.
I bet you are one of those bitter senior citizens who think that just because you pay for something you can act like a ****. Get over yourself.

May I join in the chorus proclaiming in 42-part harmony that Game Managers...in-game people...have NOTHING to do with account management, or customer service. Those, oddly enough, are handled by ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
May I also add that paying a monthly pittance for an MMO subscription doesn't entitle you to the regalia and luxuries enjoyed by the Queen of England.
I know, this may seem like pointing out the obvious, but hey. Sometimes it seems to be needed.

I'm going to have to agree with this gentleman here. Whenever I file a petition, I always get a reply before I log off for the night. This could be anywhere from a general question or payment issues, hell I even reported a botter and had a GM reply and deal with said botter within hours.
Believe it or not, but in 1 case (my acct being hacked) they informed me! I had no clue that one of my accts got hacked. Not only did they lock my acct while the investigation and contact me via email. But they refunded me SP lost and refunded all ISK and assets stolen. Without me needing to file a petition!!! *le gasp*
So, I don't know what the **** you're bitching about exaclty. If it was something really stupid like "He said I'd recieve DOUBLE my ISK back" or something along the lines of "He said it was 3 plexes, but after I bought the contract I only see 1 in my inventory" Or something ******** along those lines. Be assured that your petition is going around the office, and WILL be filed under "fucktards and morons" or "jokes" before a GM finally says GTFO...

The main issue I have is that the GM who was dealing with the orginal problem would not accept or even acknowledge that any form of out of game communication can take place which can have a direct result on actions within the game
To stand in the pub with your mates and discuss what your going to do in EVE,chat on team speak,email,skype whatever. By not even accepting that can take place by issuing the following statement "We can not verify your claim or find any log showing any communication in game". At this point all correspondence from CCP stopped
I wont go into detail but I never raised a petition, CCP raised the petition and when pressed for answers have remained silent other than the one liner above.
My six paying accounts are worthless as pointed out, hundred's of accounts must come and go each day. Hardly a concern for CCP but other than writing a post on a forum to try and get a response what other course of action is available
But I have recieved an automated dont reply to this email informing me that my subscription is due to expire giving options on how to pay, signed CCP customer support. |

Sounds very mysterious and cloak-and-dagger!
I've had a few interactions with the GMs and it's always been very prompt and fair. It sounds to me like you've got no proof, no case, and apparently no petition... just tears for unknown reasons. I'm sure we'll all miss your tear supply.

Timing has never been an issue. Usually within a day but it's always the same cookie cutter response. "Nope, we can't help, you are S.O.L." - Closed petition. How much time does it really take when all you are doing is hanging up on people?
