Which races's rank do you like best and/or which rank in general is the best one in your opinion. The caldari ones are ok, except the last one, which is a straight rip off of the US Air Force badge. Could we get something that looks a little more EVE and a little less WWII for the last caldari icon :D

Make me think of eagles. Not sure why that's not a good thing... The Minmatar ones are absolutely awesome. The Gallente and the Amarr ones are both very...plain. EDIT: And yes, the Amarr have the best rank titles, followed by the Minmatar. This time, it's Caldari and Gallente's turn to be nondescript. EDIT2: Also, I'm disappointed about how many times the word "lieutenant" has been used. Two reasons: Firstly, I don't like it when people pronounce it "lootenunt", instead of "leftenant". What would be really cool would be tribal tatoos to accompany your medals

OH YEAH. If these ranks actually serve some function other than decoration they aren't a bad addition. Even better, being unable to receive a promotion if there are too many people above you and not enough underneath would make the whole thing more sensible. Even better than that would be if having one of these ranks entailed some kind of responsibility, with demotion resulting from negligence (probably too hard to implement this of course, but it'd be a great RP addition.) Otherwise they shouldn't be using ranks, they should be using medals or something to symbolize achievement. How much sense is it going to make once everyone has a General tab?

Seems silly to give each level of standing a different picture. Do ranks come with additional powers / missions / responsibilities? If I'm a Divine Commodore, do I have any more power in factional warfare than a Paladin Crusader? __________________________________
