My skills are a little lax (I took a wrong turn in char creation, but figured no biggie since by the time I Train what I've got I'll likely have found the other things)
That and dialup kicks me every 5 min so it'd be too hard to get another char going heh
On skills - whats the best way to collect them? I could care less *what* skills I get, more the merrier.
Can I run missions? Or, if someone else has the book - cna they train it then share it with me? (i.e, so 5 people could ship in for a skill book, pass it around training to lvl 0, then sell it back?)

You can buy most of the skills from the market, just check the entire region to make sure you get the best deal.
I've never done agent missions so can't help there but I do believe they give you skill books also. Sometimes they will even give you skill books that aren't available on the market.
And unfortunately you can't share the skill books
Once someone trains it then it's gone, you can't share it or sell it to anybody else.
Hope that helps you

I had to regain my standing with my noobie training academy after a small accident, anyway I did missions for there level 1/2 agents and they give out alot of skills some of them or more than useless like 9 spaceship command but you often get good one's, more useful probably if you did'nt buy a ton of skills first.

Missions can be a big help for that. You do get some useless ones from time to time, but I got several very helpful ones (some missile skills, mechanic skills and so on). It is usually the noob corps that give out the most...you can check in the corporations section of the site as to what a particular corp sells to get a feel for the possible rewards. ---------- [ 2004.05.06 05:12:04 ] (combat) Your 250mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guristas Invader, wrecking for 155.7 damage. |

All (well almost) of the skills can be bought from the 'Market' interface. 'School' type stations (e.g. Caille University) are the most likely places to find skills for sale by the NPC corps.
----- Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene 5, Moon 4, Duvolle Laboratories Factory. Ammo at affordable prices. |

I've been carting around regions picking up skills.
Dropped some overdrives into a frig (cant get MWD yet) and just buy as many useful looking skills for under 50,000 isk.
To help pick what skills I get, I slaughter a bunch of rats and look at the drops. If I see something drop I want to play with, I find the skill I need :)
Found shield recharge rate increase of 20%. Mwuahaha. Now I can AFK mine in my hoarder without worrying about the rats taking my shields down after 4 hours :)
