i can't play eve anymore since i have updated my drivers
but all the other program are working perfectly it freeze my comp but i can read on the error message that it is because of the viodeo card (ATI 8500 )hope you can help me , its very frustrating to pay not play and i can't even do my skill changes .... :(

A lot of people on this board are complaining about the same thing-their solution is to use a previous driver. Seems like solid advice to me.

Yes, its a very frustrating problem, since other game Im playing, Saga of Ryzom refuses to work with the 3.9 version of the driver (which is the one that EVE works with).
Only solution seems to be to roll back to Catalyst 3.9. Always remember remove the driver before installing new one.

I just ordered a Dell with an ATI card. Argh, I hate to think that I'm going to have to deal with their drivers. I've used NVIDIA for years now without a hiccup, and all I see in here is ATI woes.

I have a computer with a radeon 9200 and 8500, both will not run EVE with the newest drivers. I have NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OTHER GAMES. Radeons are great cards so I dont understand how this problem has occured. There is only 1 reason, CCP MUST update their graphics code, if you are going to run a MMORPG you must update driver support for the game as well.
CCP sort this out its very slack. Even with the old drivers I have the baldness bug and some other graphical cliches. If you up the price I expect you to up the service (that inludes compatibility with popular graphics cards).....rant over...
