To be frank, he didn't stand a chance with that ****ty fit. If it would've been fitted well and for PvP you would've died unless the pilot is a total dumbass.
But keep at going against bigger targets with your rifters, you can take out battleships with some good flying if the BS pilot lacks anti-frigate capability ;) I love the rifter. It kicks ass.

Oh...I wasn't going to do this but seeing as we are talking about ego and all let me have a little lol at the Python Cartel's expense. A few nights back a few of your guys killed my thrasher and podded my noob ass in Amamake. Completely deserved, I hadn't a clue what I was at and shouldn't have been there in the first place.
First podding, quite depressing as you can imagine but then I read my combat log to discover that somehow I had managed to kill the Taranis that got me. To be honest I am pretty sure I didn't land a single shot, I think he suicided himself on a gate gun but nevertheless I got credit for the kill. I think a Taranis for a Thrasher is a pretty good deal. It cheered me up no end!

We commit mistakes sometimes :P
Many of the Python Cartel pilots are newbs ourselves and that's big part of the fun. Teamwork makes us strong! Maybe not in your particular case (hehe) but as you can see, we also take down big stuff :)

He didn't :)
Put the stabs together with our griffin and locking was absolutely impossible.
In fact we were really lucky because my friend was going to bring a stabber with a warp disruptor to the gang, but it went pop so he had to downgrade to a rifter.
If he had kept that stabber we couldn't have beaten his warp strenght. Lucky :P

i think savage just got told
me and a couple corp mates tried to take down a caracal with a brand spanking new characters with just enough skills to fit rifters with scrams and such..
couldn't break its tank in time before several battlecruisers and an ishtar appeared. Was worth the laughs though
