Maybe they should come to null where they can use bubbles... Put 40-50 of them on a gate and all the Cloaked MWD in the world won't let you warp.
Of course then they have to deal with nullsec entities breaking their camp, and that means actually risking something

Oh, and non CovOps vessels are not intended to use CovOps-cloaks due to fitting restrictions (it uses base 10,000tf CPU, which role-boni on CovOps ships reduce to useable levels).
They are intended to use regular cloaks, else they wouldn't be able to fit them, no? And they get major restrictions as a result of fitting them.
For all others ITT:
How to ***-warp--this is by no means infallible, make sure to practise in hisec with every ship you use.
Gate-camps are what are arguably over-powered in this bad game, evading them given their nature is not.
E: Learn how to de-cloak, fail-campers. It's not that hard.

Maybe I"m missing the point or why it's such a problem for you. You guys are the easiest pirates in Eve to find. 98% of the time you can be found in Rancer within 10km of the Crielere gate... smartbombs on... bellies sticking out from under your soiled T-shirts and beer in hand....
One does not need a cov ops to find you or get a warp in. The warp in is a celestial that can be seen from anywhere in the system.
Or am I missing something?

I think they should nerf warping in general. It is annoying when the baddies warp away because them warping away deprives me of billions of ISK from potential loot and should be considered an exploit. Pointing them is also just too hard.

Which, again in my most humble opinion, must mean there actually is something wrong with this tactic / mechanic.
In the same time I see an "unbreakable" gate camp in low sec, which is what you want, as something wrong with game mechanics.
Also if you miss ships while gate camping, you are doing it wrong, with or without cloak. |
