Can anyone suggest some good TF2 servers?
I used to play on multiplay public servers but the population seems to have dropped off a good deal and its pretty hard to find a full or fun server.
Not really bothered if they're US/EU timezone but it'd be nice if they had VAC, a decent map rotation and mature admins.
Cheers

Heh, all the servers I play on are almost full 12 hours a day. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post. |

No way, it's hard enough getting in without more! Check out Lotus servers, or EGO. Actually just check that under the server lists, they have a couple dozen servers. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post. |

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but surely it does matter if they are EU/US? I've always avoided servers outside EU as someone told me my ping would be much higher. Or maybe they were just trying to save me from whiny, foul-mouthed American kids?
These are the 4 servers in my favourites atm:
217.163.31.112:27015 - Hampshire Heavies 85.234.148.35:27025 - Fragmasters 89.145.117.74:27025 - Triggerhappygamers 79.160.53.138:27015 - RattusNorvegicus
I normally just join on a friend, it's just as fun to mess around with a mate on a rubbish server as play a well-matched game on a decent server. - Originally by: Kyrall Pfft antivirus? Real men use a hard drive tank.

In an FPS, long distance servers will increase your latency, which can have a significant impact on the quality of your gameplay. Cross continent servers are likley to experience this.

I frequently play on a DOA clan server, not sure of the full name. Bit laggy but it's got a good crowd, plus lots of custom maps and alltalk. ---
