Actually, if you read the thread...I haven't been around much for the last 8 months or so because real life has gotten in the way; however I'm quite vested in Eve, so haven't cancelled my accounts. The very little time I do have for Eve, I'm quite tired of having to deal with something in particular...thus this thread is to help rid us of a nuisance. In the grand scheme of things they aren't losing much if anything if they quit, so who cares? Besides if they see it as just a game as well, they'll take the griefing in stride. Both sides escalate hostilities thusly, until New Eden is consumed with distress. Conflict FTW tbh.

There's no artificial cap on war potential in Eve. Some people will get killed once and quit Eve. Some people carry all their possessions in a hauler, get killed and quit Eve. This is simply a request for someone to be killed / destroyed / podded until they stop logging in or undocking. It's not acceptable for a pefect goal to be that someone is griefed (whether it be by legitimate means (hounding) or actual griefing) to the point where they quit the game at all. Unless the target is of course, yourself. You're right; there is no limit on the amount of times you can kill someone - true enough. However, rather than hope they relent and change their ways due to being constantly hounded for whatever they have done, you decide it's a good/nice idea for them to quit the game is flawed logic in terms of what is acceptable and what is not. Those people that quit after they get killed once - for the most part it wasn't due to someone hoping and wishing they would quit when they get killed. They may claim that they were griefed out of playing EvE - they probably weren't at all.

That could be no further from the truth. I post in many threads on different forums, I am not giving special attention to you. And the fact that i had that RKK link handy is because i read their forum a lot - i like the stories about RKK, and i also had it BM'd in my browser. In the end if your definition of acceptable etiquete is not having a disenting opinion, than maybe you should stop reading a internet spaceships forum.
