Just saw the news posting about the newly available battleship posters; they really do look quite striking. I was in fact about to order one when I saw the price. $20 for 20x30cm poster? The only 'full size' one $60? Are you mad, CCP?
Obviously you're living in the world of EVE, because where I come from posters don't cost more than a third as much. Very disappointing.

Well while one is likely to increases prices for profit, looking at the description, these are not the standard posters you may buy from some movie poster shop from the looks of things?

Nice images, yet I'd not cash out unless we'd get a poster with the Amarr interceptors featured ;)

I bought a Concord t-shirt, will wear it with pride at this summers festivals.
After all it's in fashion to worship unharnessed power isn't it.

What I hate about the posters is that they all have that damn sun in the background. I hate the sun, it's always annoying me.. I would like to second the "bargain posters for us common folk" concept. Quality is nice, but my fanaticism only goes so far into my wallet.

Hey! That's not a bad idea, they could call up some local or not so local soft drink manufacturer and market Quafe.

Yeah I love the Tempest in Tranquility picture too - very nice shade in the background... I bet it looks stunning on display. I think they should definitely have other options since they seem to make them to order. I know there are dozens upon dozens of images that would make impressive pictures on a wall, and not just with ships but various nebulas.
Definitely a conversation piece - most people have no clue about mmporgs nevermind EVE. To see a picture like this up, the would probably guess that it is just some sort of high res sci-fi artwork and then probably when told that it is a 'shot' from an online world are likely to be pretty amazed when you tell then that such a place even exists. Go on CCP, bring us pictures of the EVE Gate, City of God etc etc ;)
