Hi
I got the Eve trial from steam (21 day) then activated another 30 days through Steam again (15 dollars).
However the game does not authenticate if i login from a normal client (non steam client).
Any fix for this?

How did you log on the forum?
The account/password used to log here should be working on a normal client, or there is some locking for steam people not to get on the normal client? -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast !

As far as I am aware, the Steam version is identical to the stand-alone version. In fact it IS the standalone version, just auto-added to the Steam game list. The installation is found in './Steam/SteamApps/common/' if you are curious.
Something else must be going wrong if you can't log in from another install.

The same username and password you used to log on to these forums should work on ANY installation of EVE, anywhere. Make sure you're not trying to use your Steam login on the EVE client. ----------
