My large tower in hi-sec is pretty much maxed out. Is it possible to anchor 2 large towers side-by-side and split the load of all modules between 2 towers?

Yea, can you imagine the mess in 0.0, if you could do that? Every 0.0 cyno jammer (keeps capital ships from jumping into the system) would have as many towers as possible parked on top of each other.

it would be helpful to have 5 deathstars on a single moon

An anchorable super computer was one of the orginal POS modules planned. However I think the dev's reaslised that would happen if they were combined in quantity with the power plant module. e.g. effectively unlimited power and CPU (both added fixed amounts) producing something that if it did not crash the system with lag would destroy a deathstar with one salavo.
It would be nice if they introduced them like the ship modules, so they give say a percentage gain to CPU/power but take fixed percentage of the towers output power/CPU. So they stacking neif themselves.
Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congrated by carebears for the actions. |

The different faction's towers do this, to an extent:
Caldari (Large) 2,750,000 MW / 7,500 tf Gallente (Large) 3,750,000 MW / 6,750 tf Minmatar (Large) 4,375,000 MW / 6,000 tf Amarr (Large) 5,000,000 MW / 5,500 tf
There is nothing that says you can't put a Caldari tower in Minmatar space, if you want. The only problem is you will have to import your fuel. With a little planning, this isn't too difficult if you import 3-6 months worth at a time.
