Guys, have any of you successfully achieved this. i was thinking of using a maelstrom with t2 guns and some mid and low slots but as always would be most welcome of the advice.

PS not really into acronyms, so if you could possibly give the full name of the mods, would be really grateful.

A tempest can easily rat in 00, but you should probably not do it before you can figure out what you need to fit.
And this is actually a well meant piece of advice.

Tempest likely better for ratting as you want the two utility high slots for a cloak and salvager.
Complete setup would require the type of rats you will hunt.
And I found a torp Typhoon to be a better ratting ship anyway, and I seldom had any missile skills.

A BC won't be that much slower killing the rats and it's way more affordable. I used a tempest before and now I'm using a hurricane and loving it! Passive shield tanks ftw!! I never pass beyond half shields even with triple spawns.

interestingly enough, a cane can have a 500+ hp recharge on its shield
lots of lows for spr's
