Along with the GTC issue this is another OOG matter which is about the commercial decisions of CCP rather than game mechanics or issues, so I'm not sure it falls within the remit of the CSM. However ...
That the price for EVE play is set in both US$ and EUÇ was a commercial decision by CCP and, at the time when they first did so the two currencies were fairly close in valuation. Now they very clearly are not (so much so I am considering moving from an account billed quarterly in Euros to buying a quarterly GTC denominated inn US dollars.
Any change on this will, clearly, be a decision of the commercial side of the CCP business team. They would only appear to have two options though:
1) Revise the current USD and EUR amounts so that they are close to parity with each other (either increase USD or decrease EUR or find some mid-point), or 2) Move to a single currency payment basis, such that all payments are denominated in USD, EUR, ISK (real currency), ISK (Eve currency) or some other currency entirely. Ideally (from CCP's POV, whatever the same currency that their largest bills are paid in, to reduce exchange overheads).
Real-world exchange rates will always fluctuate and either CCP or the EVE population will be on the 'losing' side. Myself, as I'm in the UK I have to pay a currency conversion charge whatever is in place ...

Try doing your research before trolling. Wow costs for 1 month: $14.99 or Ç12.99 or ú8.99 (depending on where you are subscribing from). No one is complaining about WoW costs because they are more balanced. WoW subscribers aren't paying an extra $8 a month just because they are in the EU.

Linking it to income does not make sense as a lot of Eve players are students with no net income in the first place.
You should be a student.
Anyways, I'm in favor of you paying more so I don't have to. Also another guy pointed out that you can skimp on your payments by laundering your money into US currency so that should work allright if you want to save. I feel for ya on that VAT thing though.. thumbs down to that.
