You didn't own that Carrier, CCP did. You had control, and the terms require you to pilot the ship at all times to maintain this control (void in the case of lag, sploits, and voodoo). Once you eject you forfeit control of the item, and risk losing all future control. So technically, if you could get into hell for stealing what can't be stolen from someone that never owned it, then you can get into hell for being stupid enough to lose it.
Also, hell would make a pretty bad nightclub hihi
