Yesterday a long dear friend of ours past away. I long fight to cancer has finally taken him to heaven. For those that remember him for what he was might not have been that eager to say he was gentle in eve lol. But for those that flew with him when it came to battle, sacrafice and honor with his fellow comrades he was faithful too us. Specially those from New Dawn Rising, for most of us he was a real life friend and the best commander we had ever had, and was one of the craziest pilots without fear I had ever met. He had saying for us that we kept and I will share it with all of you.
"Our lives on this planet are too short. The work to be done is too great. Bet we can perhaps remember that those that lived with us are our brothers. That they share with us, the same short moment of life" Bobby Kennedy
And in the world of eve this is where we lived, this is where he lived with his friends. Today is a very hard day for us, for he has left behind a child and a wife. A beta player himself. We at NWDR will forever miss him as a player and as a person. I will take his place in hopes I can fill his shoes. I give this moment for him and him only.

[I am posting this for someone who cannot post. Please do not remove]
I met Panzer Goddess at EvE Gathering Las Vegas March 2006 in person. I do not think I have met a more fearless person as a pilot since then.
I spoke with him 3 days ago .... you would never guess he was close to times end and told me he was going to pew pew me soon. After a long freindship in EvE I found that very odd he would say that..... after over 3 years of close EvE friendship and knowing each other...he never once told me that....or that he had cancer either.
Today I am deeply saddened ....a close pilot has fallen....one that was so many great things one would find it hard to sum into words...
May the honor guards sound as this is truly a great loss to the eve community...His killmails prove it in spades... look him up....
My deepest sympathy and kindest regards...

I never met Panzer but I am saddend none the less whenever anyone dies before their time. Especially whne they leave family behind, real life in in game.

I always hate seeing these threads because they mean another life has ended untimely. This one, however, is the first regarding someone I've actually encountered before, so it was more than a bit of a shock.
Back in 2005 (I think), in the waning days of Fountain Alliance and the early days of Vertigo Coalition, I was living in Fountain and Aridia and TeamBetaAlpha was a member of Fury Corp (FUCO). I can't say that my interaction with the man ever amounted to more than pew-pew, but I *can* say he definitely brought the fight, anf for that earned my respect.

lol just thinking about the times we had with eve is amazing. I am as well the original: TeamBETAzeus. I flew with huff so long ago as well, great pilot. One of the few guys I knew in eve who took his battleship to go scout with lol, and if he got to the point where he was bored he would tell us we were all gonna die and took and headed us towards the biggest blob he could find lol. My rl big brother to me, I will always miss him as well.

No way, as being one of the original members of NWDR and having flown with him countless times i gotta this has come as quite a shock to me. he was one of the craziest pilots ive ever flown with my only regret is that i didnt keep in contact with him.

Our corp had a likewise experience with a much loved member some time ago.
You realise how personally involved you are with the people you care about online and how to value the lives of others you get involved with through online games.
My deepest condolence to the corp mates and his family, and i hope they are aware of your grief and care on his passing, as it often matters much to them to know of all the aspects of his social life and involvements.

HAIL TO THE KING! One of the best and craziest damned pilots I have met and flew with. He feared no one and no ship and no gang, only guy to go one on one vs a ******** cap pilot and demolish 11 fighters and a thorax and manage to get out alive lol. This was very hard for me to post in the forum, a best friend to me in RL.

Only person I met that could **** off an entire alliance, break one apart and still be happy about it and still find a way to earn respect lol. RIP mate, hope your flying in the heavens is grand.

It's been a day since I have been back from the funeral of my friend, my brother, my commander in eve. TBA was a great man, one of the best. You wouldn't have known that he was ill unless you knew, he hid it very well, especially on eve. Neither did he want anyone to know that he was sick. He handled himself very well until the final month when he really began to be frail. As for who he was, he was my mentor and has taught me to be the pilot I am today in eve, and I feel ashamed for not being able to get on more often to honor his teachings. He was the best pilot ever.

ROFL, thats funny ****, I remember too many stories, I guess those in NWDR had to be as crazy as him to follow him always. Lol I remember we had a group of about 7 of us and we went looking for a big blob and managed to miss every fcken one, and lol on the way back home we ran into too camping a gate which we never bothered to scout...but then again lol TBA never beleived in a scout, yup and we all died lol, we went out in fashion, we killed a thorax out of about 60 people, and we managed to get 3 OUT LOL...**** those were the days.
Still remember back in huff when the alliance was instated and holy shiit that was fun.

TBA was one of the craziest pilots I have ever flown, and I will miss him deeply. The news came very sudden to me. My greatest regret was loosing touch with TBA over the last 3-4 months and not knowing about his condition :(( I would have loved nothing better than to have known sooner so I could spend time with him.
My respects go out to Mike and all his friends and family. He will be in my prayers tonight, and in my thoughts always. He will be sorely missed.

To fly with him was an honor. To fight along side him was a pleasure. To hear the news of his passing was and still is a shock. My prayers go out to him and his son and wife. Along with the rest of his family. My he rest in peace and look over all of us as well. From one short bus squad tard to another I bow my head an pay my respects. R.I.P TBA. You'll be greatly missed.
My fondest memory was. When he was in the sudden death squad an we where in w-q. He an a few others loaded up ravens with smartbombs and camped the gate. Blew up tons of frigs and cruisers. An we had a great luagh about it.

I knew Panzer Goddess for quite some time, since late 2003. Always freindly and always stayed in touch. He certainly made a lasting impression on me as guy you wanted to know during the many convo's we shared. I will sorely miss him and really hope his family gets through this ok.
