From where do you propose to take that extra high? One less mid or one less low? Right now, every covert ops has 10 slots total. I, for one, highly prefer the Helios' 2-5-3 layout as opposed to 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. Solution for you: another race's Frigate V should take two weeks or less to train.

That is funny, I am almost all Amarr spec, but I hate the cov-ops Amarr frig. I actually trained Gallente Frig 5 for the Helios hull. Lol. (though I love the Amarr Stealth bomber).

Take it from the mids Why? well.....i use my helios for exploration (to probe the sites, not run them), or in some odd occations as a probing scout. At this point i see no reason what so ever for all those mid slots. Exploration: Only need AB or MWD and maybe a cap battery in the mids. PvP: If you are decloaked you are either dumb for getting to close, or really unlucky. Nothing are going to save you anyway, as you are sitting in a can of paper ready to be spacedust. I could ofc fill those mids with "stuff" that might come in handy, but the limited cpu makes this hard. That extra high(so it becomes 3, not 2 slots like its now) would nicely fit a salvager. I really often come across wrecks on gates when im out scanning. And if i fly as a scout i could salvage wrecs that left on the field. Edit: im a muppet when it comes to spelling Stormer1

Even better they can keep the old hull shape as they are now and change the EW frigs instead! It was a copout when they made the EW frigs share the hull design as the co-ops.

While I usually prefer to remain cloaked, I still usually keep modules in the mids so I can act as a last-ditch tackler if absolutely necessary. 1MN MWD II, CR II, WD II, 2x Phased Muon SDs (scan res scripts). Cap doesn't last long at all, but hopefully by then your gangmates are there and you can disengage. It's not meant to hold for long, really for situations where without the WD, the target would otherwise be warping out as the gang was warping in. When on my own, I like 1MN MWD II, CR II, 2x SB II (locking time scripts), WD II. I have almost caught several safespotted pods (and at the time I was only using 1 SB II)...one of these days I'm going to get one that is just a bit too slow to realize someone just decloaked right next to them. Or, if you have it at V, what do you have in the lows that takes up a lot of CPU? A Nano II and 2x Overdrive IIs in the lows is a good setup, IMO, and takes up 0 CPU and 0 PG.
