CCP have already made all Amarr stuff the coolest looking, so to actually make it as good as the rest would be unfair!

Funnily enough, the only T2 drones I can use are Amarr.

Look at the amarr sentry drones. Specifically the tracking speed and range. While common lt, med and hvy are crap the amarr sentry are pure gold compared to the other drone types.

In PVP I pop Praetor IIs out sometimes... it has the effect of instilling fear into enemies.
Probably because I actually use them.

There is a problem with Amarr drones. Especially in PvE, where they are just plain worse than the gallente drones on the em/therm weak NPC's.

I actually use Hammerheads on friggin rogue drones instead of whatever they're called amarr mediums because they actually do more damage due to damage modifier. Thanks, CCP.

Why would you use your own "race's" drones? Theres no limitations on which ones you use.
My Dominix is always well stocked with a selection of different racial drones, for different occasions.

Those are the only drones you ever need to use, for anything. As much as it would be nice to use others, there's no point.
Also, Hammerheads should be called 'Hammeroids'...they are a pain in the ass, after all :)

Amarr have more dronebays than either caldari or minmatar, but have the worst drones. Which seems backwards, the other problem is that amarr guns usually do the most damage, but have cap issues.
Amarr drones need some balancing, that should reflect amarrian weapons on ships. Amarr weapons have the highest base dps of any other weapons, and amarrian dronebays are only dwarfed by the gallente ones. The drones should reflect this, but instead we get the lowest damage drones, that have no real advangategs over other drones (such as tracking, speed, etc)

Give Amarr drones extra armor hp to make them a pain to kill. That way the craptastical damage modifier can have a chance to actually do some dps over time.

Never actually ran the numbers but I believe Amarr drones are rather nice against nano-ships with their unresisted shield-extenders :-P

Exactly. Beside only these three combat drones, I skilled up T1 Medium Armor Bots and Medium ECM drones.
Career drone specialization complete.
