Just lost my Apoc to a epic bug whilst tanking (/read No issues on our logs etc etc).
I was running the following.
6 x Miner II's
4 x Cap Recharger II's
1 x Large Armor Rep II
1 x Medium Armor Rep II
2 x Armor Explosive Hardener II
2 x Armor Kinetic Hardener II
2 x CPU II's
With no cap isues at all.
As you can see its quite expensive, what im looking for is something of the cruiser/battlecruser class. I do have Cruisers lvl 5 so I could go into T2.
Can i get some advice off you guys for ships and stuffs?

I lost an eos to an epic bug and get the std response. even thought he eos was capable of tanking like 900dps and im pretty sure no rat sapwn can beak that.
an inty can speed tank spaws. hacs with decent boosters can. but a BS setup right with decent skills should not die to a NPC spawn in a belt. Hell a myrmidon is a good tank

Looks to me like they were afk and have no clue what killed them. What did your combat log say?
You think an apoc is expensive but you are willing to use a HAC for mining?

yes, rig it with 3 repper rigs...

1 mining laser upgrade 2
2 cpu upgrade 2
1 pith b-type small shield booster
2 named hardener (t2 won't fit)
1 cap recharger 2
3 mining laser 2
1 ccc
4 mining drone 2
can tank many (mind you not all) 0.0 spawns and yields 863 m^3 ore per minute.
