Greetings.
Speaking for Oracle I would like to announce that in the interest of peace between the Empires Oracle will tomorrow at 12EVT be providing an escort for the Jovian Misu Baniya when moving through Minmatar space. We call upon our fellow brethren to help asure that no harm will come to the Jovian Liaison during his visit to the Republic.
Oracle will also be providing an honorary escort in Amarr space and we ask our enemies, many of whom no doubt will be providing similar protection, for a temporary truce in the interest of interstellar peace. |

You better contact PIE and the CVA immediately, political discussions of this 'sensitive nature' should not be brought out in public.
I, for one, do not welcome you. ----------------------------------------------

I will exact revenge for the families and citizens of Amarr whose fathers and mothers your indiscriminate and unlawful agenda has struck such fear and anguish upon.
Expect no mercy, compassion or leniency from me.
Pray to whatever heathen symbol you believe in that the CVA leadership offer you sanctuary, or else you shall burn. ----------------------------------------------

Seeing has how the jove is likely to be using a jump drive i very much doubt u could escort him.
I feel you have either missed this point - or are trying to use this as an opertunity to infiltrate amarr space.

Unles he is miraculously teleporting between stations he will be in space when travelling between systems. Oracle intends to ensure that he will come to no harm during his tour. |

Gaius, our agenda is anything but indiscriminate. Even your blinkered mind must be able to comprehend that. If you're not a slaver, then Oracle's no threat at all, in Amarr sovereign space, or any other sovereign space for that matter.
We're not psychopaths.
To the matter in question, regrettably, due to the timing of Misu Baniya's visit, I will likely be unable to form part of the escort. I send a message of thanks and goodwill to the Jovians for their part, witting or unwitting, in giving the Minmatar the chance they needed to rebel. Good luck, and may Matar smile upon the Oracle pilots taking part.

As our divine emperor Doriam Kor'Azor is going to welcome the Jovian ambassador he has nothing to fear from loyal citizens. Be sure that we will take care of warmongers, pirates and terrorists trying to jeopardize his mission. As this all is happening on very short notice I have to say it will be difficult to reach all CVA forces to even try to work out a cease-fire! Therefore it is my advice to either contact available CVA representatives over your neo-com or escort the Jovian ambassador at all his stops but amarr!

If he's going to be making possibly 6 or 7 stops on his trip in an hour (To the home systems which are all quite a few jumps away with the new changes) you won't beable to escourt him as he will travel too fast, and it would be fruitless anyways. The Jovian ship could wipe out any piddly attack you or the Amarr would attempt. I laugh at the very thought that the ambassador could be destroyed by any ships in the galaxy other then another Jovian ship.
Now please, lets stop this nonsense and marvel at the wonder of Jovian technology. I for one am most eager to see the new advancement and hopefully get a chance to examine it personally.

And good luck to the people who are determined to protect the ambassador i fear many people will try to assinate him for the technology which may be aboard his ship. --------------------------------------

SA, and anyone else that could lock weaponry on him. A fine reception indeed. They weren't all Jovian ships or pilots, either. General Ouria was accompanied by an Oracle honour guard that fought valliantly against impossible odds, and was annihilated to a man.
No, the Jove are not invulnerable. Personally, I'm interested in how CONCORD's going to react to any aggression.

It seems pretty clear that Baniya's trip is of a diplomatic nature and that the Emperor himself is fully aware and prepared for the visit. That being the case, why do you feel the need to offer an escort in Amarr space?
As others have stated, our people are loyal to Emperor Kor-Azor and his wishes, and if he's supportive of this visit then we shall honour his views on this. Rest assured, Baniya will have safe passage through Amarr space, although we will not welcome the presence of Minmatar terrorists within our borders. -------------------------- PIE Inc Captain and Internal Communications Officer |

Edited by: Makkar on 06/05/2004 08:49:38 Very well. If this ambassador's going to be demonstrating some new drive technology, and Oracle's fleet is diminished due to the timing of his visit, then it's clear that Oracle will not be able to provide escort throughout his journey. We will restrict our escort to Minmatar space, and for as long as we are able to follow, but we shall entrust him to CVA's care within Amarrian borders.
Know that there are many among your people that will wish harm to the ambassador in spite of Doriam's will. I'm sure CVA's up to the task, though.

Oracle - we will NOT tolerate your escort for a GUEST OF THE EMPEROR in Amarr space.
You are outlaws and terrorists with the blood of many innocent Amarrians on your hands and you have the temerity to suggest that you need to escort the Jove in Amarr space?
PIE and the CVA will provide an escort for our 'guest' and probably a better escort than you Minmatar rabble could put together.
Whether it is sufficient will have to be seen - The Jovians have garnered many enemies in the Amarr Empire - but rest assured while he is a guest of the Emperor we shall do everything in our power to protect him...
If you want to assure that this event proceeds with dignity and without bloodshed then I welcome your decision to stay beyond the borders of Amarr.

I suggest PRM units do support the escorting through our space. Demiurge Ialdaboth, you should know who to contact if needed. ____________________________________________________

What amazes me is this arguing over who will escort who. I see no where, where he ask either asked for an escort or has revealed a need for any escort. Assuming he can indeed make quite a long journey in so little time. I just cannot and will not accept his coming as a politicial excuse for anything.
I suggest we sit back and see what happens, rather than atognise his visit any more than it already has antognised anything. ---------------------------------

Edited by: Mos Panor on 06/05/2004 11:33:34 Quite right AsheRaven. The diplomat may not need escorting, which is why we won't accept Oracle's presence in Amarr space. That said, we will be present during the visit, if only to ensure that no terrorist activity takes place during that time.
Whether Demiurge's comments were designed to wind us up, or in fact if Oracle are using this visit as an excuse to enter our borders, rest assured that any unwelcomed terrorist presence will be dealt with, as Hardin has outlined. -------------------------- PIE Inc Captain and Internal Communications Officer |

That is both yours and Oracles business not mine. I for one am sad that I cannot see the ambassador's ship up close as I have much to do else where. I wish him a safe and unhassled journey, both here and back home. ---------------------------------

Indeed. It would have been nice to have been present during the visit, unfortunately the mortgage on the nice house I just bought in Emrayur won't pay itself, so it's work all the way for me. -------------------------- PIE Inc Captain and Internal Communications Officer |

In the face of current events the escort, for obvious reasons, will be postponed. Oracle will instead devote resources to obtaining as many parts of Misu's person for safe return to the Jovian state. |

Uhm, no... We've still got slavery to argue and fight about.. An evenly distributed Jovian's not going to change that.
