Hi @ll,
I would have an web interface vor EVE!
Not to fly around etc... but just to train skills look at the market situation and buy or sell items.
I miss this feature because if I did not come home and one skill is trained I can't initiate another to train. At work I could log in and initiate another skill to train! That would be perfekt

A song that keeps reappearing..
Not sure of the final stand on this idea from the ccp, but considering the many requests for it I would not be surprised if it eventually was added..

Most other online games would immediately shoot this down by stating that, in order to progress in a game you should actually play the game.
CCP on the other hand *already* has deviated from that course by recognising that players do in fact play money for their account per month, not per time spent online and have thus taken the enlightened view that paying customers should be given what they pay for - skill training.
I therefore remain hopeful that this idea IS implemented. Hell, a LOT of the ingame functionality would be real nice to access from a web interface. The email, the ability to issue buy and sell orders, create missions. change skills - almost everything in fact that doesnt involve hitting the launch button seems quite viable to present via a web interface.
(As an aside - This will of course "enable" multi monitor functionality as a web browser could then be used on the alternate display to access those functions without cluttering the game screen).

you could also lock the web interface if you are in the game screen!
I also think that you could take the whole station monitor and functionality into the webinterface! And that's so right, we pay for months and I would like to have some features accessible all the time and not only at computers where eve can run! If I had an computer at work which could play it I would have no prob to install it here but on an NT 4.0 with PIII 400mgh and no 3d graphics card?!

and then we can maybe fly our ship... and maybe do some mining OMG it turned into EVE!!!.. really ppls, having just training ur skills is enough i think. Why make CCP start coding an entire game on the browser just so ppl dont have to log on.
