alot of very nice banners, im really impressed whit the graphic skills of some of the artists here , however (sorry if im beeing annoying now) but i noticed alot of the banners was much larger in size than the forum rules allowe.
please note:

I think thatÆs because the dimensions of a sig do not really matter if the size size is below 15kb.
A 15kb 140x450 Signature just a s long to load as a 15kb 100x300 Signature ;)

Took me awhile of working with ULead Smartsaver to get mine under 15kb while still maintaining transparency and quality. If you go specifically by the dimensions you will have something exceeding the 30k pix size also...

Actually deminsions do matter as with the area of the total sig. And of coruse file size also matters.

just reencode it to a lower quality jpeg, you won;t know the difference by normal eyesight, but it will save you the 319 bytes
