About me:
I have been playing slightly over 1 month now. I played 1 month with a Minmatar, learned a lot through the forums, and did a LOT of level 1 missions.
I then re-rolled three days ago as a Gallente Soldier. I am currently training learning skills and other "basics". I am using my original character to make a little bit of ISK while my new character trains.
Solo is getting boring after a month, so I am looking for a friendly corp that is willing to help somebody new. I will then hopefully be able to return the favor by being a valuable member of the team.
I am in the EST U.S.
I think I will enjoy small gang pvp the most. Eventually after my skills get built up I would like to move on to 0.0 space.
What I am looking for:
-I am looking for a corp that can train me in the basics of pvp.
-I am fine with doing kill missions too, but that is purely to fund pvp endeavors.
-I do not want to pirate; I want to keep a positive security status.
-I do not want to mine or do industry. I have been making money by doing kill missions, so that is how I will contribute ISK to the corp.

About us:
We are small corp that is just getting started however the members are not new to eve. We are all old friends from former corps who decided to do things on our own. All of us have been in large alliances and have done alot of PVP. This corp is PVP based and has access to 0.0 which you can make alot more isk than mission running. We require you to be able to get on Team Speak at least to listen, having a mic would be better and that you be willing to learn and start using T2 ships over t1. Our corp does allow pirating but it is not required that you do. A good portion of our members are US TZ including me the CEO. You could check out Noob Mercs. We are always active in several wars. There is no requirements to join, and you can leave whenever you want to go to 0.0 or whatever. The corp has a lot of Noobs but also a good amount of older players as well.

you sound like a good fit for our Corp. We are expanding and have a presense in both hi-sec (for training our new players and for mission running)and in low-sec for our mining ops,ratting and security. We currently operate a POS and are a member of the Entity Allaince. While we are a mining and industry corp, our growth will be in pvp to expand our operations in low-sec. We've got many members who can answer questions and of course, our training will include taking you on lvl 2, 3 and when you're ready, lvl4's. .... all pretty much at your pace. Our organization includes a director for pvp training and a director of pve ... as well as mining director ..... and of course a recruiting director (that would be me).
