Chemal Tech VIII Moon 20. About 3 days ago, did a single run with the corp's Ares print from my personal hanger. Didn't notice it was gone until this morning.
This is getting -really- old, and the third such event which has happened to me (In one case I got someone -else's- Blackbird limited run BPC, which I still haven't found the owner of). None of the petitions were answered. In once case, someone was nice enough to give back the bp voluntarily upon finding it in -his- hanger after seeing a post on these boards.
C'mon CCP ... answer the 'Other' petitions, please? Or make something I can petition that doesn't get erased?

I've lost a bp in a situtaion like this, but with an other petition I got a reply and the situtation resolved within 2days...

I just lost a BP like this as well. Filed a Bug petition, will try an Other petition if I don't get a reply in the next day or two.

Luck is apparently on my side.
I filed a petition, but got the issue resolved faster than I could have hoped for by the community that shares the system with me.
(Big Kudo's to Dugalle and Doctor Strangelove)
Late last night/early morning (1:30am west coast US time), I was contacted by a friend I have at station after I'd sent him an eve-mail. He checked with some of his acquaintances (and their alts) that use the Douss VIII M20 Chemal station, and one of them found, and returned, the blueprint to me, refusing any reward.
I strongly believe that the factories at this particular station are bugged, as events and testimony so far have played out:
Ares Original - Returned to original owner
Vexor Unlimited BPC - Returned to original owner
Blackbird bpc - appeared in my hanger, owner unknown.
Moa bpc - found in Dugalle's friend's hanger, owner unknown.
Contact me in game regards to the Blackbird blueprint if you lost it in Doussivitte, with mineral efficiency and runs/remaining details for verification.

Addendum -
As far as I know, this has only happened from using the factories at Doussivitte Chemal Tech VIII Moon 20.
While this doesn't preclude the problem from being with the labs as well, at least so far as we know its the factories only that cause blueprint loss.
In both cases where I lost a blueprint into someone else's hanger, I was doing a single factory run. This may or may not be a contributing factor, as I do do many large multiple factory runs and to date, as far as I know, I haven't lost a blueprint that way, unless somehow I missed losing an ammo bpo.
Just as precaution though, any rare, unique, or super expensive blueprints I have will be -copied- extensively, and only the copies used for manufacturing purposes while I'm based out of this station. It'll be a lot slower than just using the original, but I can afford to be patient when its things like my Miner II or the corp's Ares blueprints on the line.

Wouldn't make a blind bit of difference in this case Ichabod, if you had all the factory slots, you'd just risk losing more BPs. The BPO in question popped into my alts hangar, who just happened to be docked/logged at that station, could have been anyone. He doesn't have a factory slot there, nor does he do any manufacturing there.
This is the 3rd BP (2 belonging to Mrissa) that has dropped into mine or a friend's hangar at Doussivitte 8/20, and given the value of the items involved, this needs to be fixed ASAP. Fortunately, the 3rd one was only a Cruiser BP with a few runs left on it, so someone didn't lose potentially months of work. I've also had a number of zero run copies drop as well. I don't manufacture there anymore because of this. Losing a Cruiser or BS BPO would really ruin my day.
Mrissa, I have a spare factory slot or two in Luminaire you can have if you want to build your Ares there. Take you forever to copy/build them...

there is no bug petition, only bug reports. they are not answered, ever! if you want an answer use the petitions.

Thankyou, I'll consider your offer - though I like Doussivitte because its off the beaten track, while still having a fair amount of lateral traffic - plus I can't yet -fly- the bloody things, seeing as how I focussed on piloting Minmatar interceptors before my corpmate got this windfall from her agent. As to the Ares, we have a few stock left in our hangers, enough to last market demands *we don't sell that many, or that fast* through monday when I can start building from single run copies.
As far as I understand it, losing the blueprint comes at the end of a run, after it spits out the ship (to the right hanger), and in this case, if it discarded, it'd litter someone's random hanger with a 0-run Ares bpc.

Uh, yes ... in all cases, I have petitioned, and none of them under 'Bug Report'. The only petition category that falls under this appears to be the 'Other' button, as all the other petitions, if improperly used, are immediately disregarded. In all cases, I write down the case # then wait. No answer from CCP in game. No email 'with the answer to your question' out of game. Perhaps my timing's bad due to people petitioning over goofy things like an (non)event not being entertaining when it was intended only as a news item.
In conclusion (since I'm up on a soapbox apparently?! How'd I get here?!):
I'm fully prepared to accept that CCP gets swamped and things like this can be posted with unlooked for bad timing. I'm only not tearing my hair out because I managed to get the blueprint back, without CCP's help.
When its corporate property like this, and its entrusted to me, and the factory decides to play musical hangers with all the other residents of the station - its a problem. Luckily, my corp is practically family, a very tight group of players, but if I'd been in a bigger, less personal corp, what do you think the initial in-corp scuttlebut would be if I suddenly announced I 'lost' their interceptor orignal?
Only through sheer luck mingled with the good will of other good people in game have I managed to regain my blueprints.

I also lost a bp a few days ago after putting a few on to build in my factory at Korama III.10
It was a tech2 "Medium Shield Extender II"
Submitted a "Bug Report" petition, but have had nothing happen yet to resolve this. I know that "bug report" does not get a reply, so I have no idea how one is suppose the get an acknowledgement of the issue.

Hmmm...
this sounds rather pretty ****ty and in need of a fix.
We've only ever lost 1 bp in this manner and that was a long time ago (Sabretooth missile bp so whoopy-doo) - i thought it had been resolved in fact. Good job your neighbours are honest Mrissa.
Maybe we can get some attention to this by alternative methods...

considering taht after weeks of being out of whack, they still havent fixed escrow, or the ship collecting glitch, or the high end cruiser rats drop no cans if the lag is bad bug, or any of the bugged missions. I wouldn't hold my breath Im afraid.

 Lost a BP that was being researched in Iivinen VIII - Moon 7- Genolution Biohazard Containment Facality today. was due out at 18:00 Eve time and when I logged in this evening it was no where to be found.
Not happy about that.

not 100% on topic....
Yesterday I notiched that an escrow I had posted was not showing in the list, neither had it been collected since it was not registered in the wallet - so I feared that it had gone missing...
Just as I was about to petetion it i crashed (naturly), so after a reboot and some time (had some other things to do) I loged back in and notiched that I now had 800misk extra in my wallet... (aka. the transaction finaly got registered)
that experience had me hanging in the air for arround an hour - I dont have that much confidence in the escrow system anymore..

Not sure exactly what station it was but i was in irjunen lai dai corp (the one at the bottom of the list).
Lost a kestrl bpo in the research labs. Petitioned 6 days ago and heard nothing since.
Did the last patch actually improve anything or did everything get broken?

Well, this never happened to me and now that it did I hear lots of people losing BPOs in recent past.
My take on this is there is ome obscure bug where system screws around players IDs and location where prints should eject to.
My case was the print for no reason ejected from factory slot and appeared in my CEO private hanger (I am lucky as hell on this one).

My Ares BPO went missing from it''s factory slot sometime in the last 12 hours or so in Luminaire VII - Moon 1 - Federation Customs Testing Facilities. Sent in an other Petition. Been running it 24/7 for weeks without problems, hopefully can get it back sooner than later... |

I wonder if this mess is everywhere? I have a factory and some labs in Heorah, and I sure hope I don't lose any BPs. I don't have anything all that stupendously rare or expensive, but losing the research time would really suck.

This bug crops up everywhere, BPs will always be refunded after a petition. Even my Iridium charge S which I frankly gave a *beep* about. Took almost a week once, though.

We HAD about 15 lab slots in Ussannen 1 - Carthum congometae Factory and over the course of a week we lost all but 2 lab slots. I didnt think much about it just was annoyed that we'd lost the PIAD FOR slots until a few weeks later I suddenly realised that our BP's were looking a bit short(I've had loads of RL work so wasnt really paying attention) I now realise where all those BPs must have gone. We've lost so many now I dont even know exactly what we lost or when. :(
I'm petitioning but dont expect much.

Just a reminder to everyone this is still around. My lab lease apparently expired and the specific lab which I had my T2 magnetic backup array is now rented out to someone else and the BPO is missing. You, in Reset, who found my BPO, please return it. Been petitioned too
