well, the battleship vipersquad and co killed today really puts into perspective how cheap iio's mack was. 1.4b on a faction battleship really isnt alot at all. congrats on the kill though, not every day hydra manage to kill faction ship.

Maybe I'm a bit out of date, but I think 1.4 Billion is a tad on the low side for that ship.
And the 2nd one! Holy crap, you could probably buy and fit a Dread for less.

I dont know exactly how expensive caldari navy crap is (why not guristas, is usually cheaper), but i would be surprised if it is much more than 1.4 billion.

I'm pretty sure its worth a lot more than 1.4 billion.
The ship itself has gotten cheap overtime, but Killboard prices are always completely screwed up and broken.
Those launchers I think are in the realm of 60m a piece atm. So it's remotly accurate in the sense.
The officer launcher in no way is worth 100k ISK like the killboard says, doesn't take eyes to see this. It also says the Republic Fleet OD's alltgother only cost 1500 ISK, and the killboard also seems to think the officer MWD is only 500,000 ISK.

Yes but the nos/neut + cruise combination is pretty popular with the macharial - it goes very fast, so can speed tank most things, it isn't too afraid of rapiers, which go down in seconds... just about the only thing that can stop the nano mach is a nos dommi or being massively outblobbed.
The setup isn't terrible, but it's a bit expensive. That said, it's a faction ship and the dude probably has a snake set so that's to be expected.
There's a lot worse mach setups out there.
I can only assume he was camping a gate, when a rat showed up, so he went to kill that, then got distracted. Either that or ... err, he found the dommi in a belt, got somehow scrambled by the rats, dommi warped out and in again and he bounced off an asteroid...
I don't believe he was ratting in it... I hope he wasn't.

Considering that there's one rat on the killmail, I very strongly doubt that he was ratting.
No, looks like the Domi bagged him a nano Mach. Makes me wonder how he did it. At any rate, I'm not too surprised at the fit, and it isn't that bad really (though I'd projectile fit mine).

You could def buy a mothership with it. Last I heard, the Estamel's Invuln was selling in the price range of a Titan.

That someone has isk and decided to put them to use? That someone had a loss that YOU couldn't cope with? What? The setup isn't that bad. It's just a normal speed mach, although a little out of fashion now.
So, some guy loses something you'd soil your pants over and this makes it universally "lolable". It's tiring seeing people point the finger at someone using faction/officer stuff. Who is the real idiot, you who can't afford that **** and thinks the end is near when sees a killmail like this or the guy that's made enough isk in this game and is willing to use it? |

Congrats fnvent and I'm jealous I didn't kill the bastard. As for bad setup it ain't the best but stop the lols and fails. I can't stand this dude but for what he intended to use the ship for it worked and he got a lot of kills. I even give props to the dude for having the balls to constantly use the damn thing in pvp which I bet my big toe 90% of you out there wouldn't even take it to low sec. I just don't think a Bs should ever go 9k m/s like this one.
