Hi,
my 2 agents normally are giving me quite good missions. Few jumps, frequently T2 components, etc.
But yesterday i think i got a little lazy when i got missions that would take me a little further out and so i said "Your mission sucks, im outta here" to both agents.
I then checked the next missions they offered me and found theyre not any better. So i declined again.
The funny thing now was that the one agent now gave me a mission that i have been offered NEVER before and which usually is not in his stash: a kill mission. The description consists of 3 points, something about a slaver. And i would have to kill a Gurista Mortifier. However, with my low gunnery skills in an Omen cruiser i didnt thing i would have much of a chance. So i had to decline again.
The slaver mission normally is supposed to be offered from navy and internal security agents, not from marketing agents. So i suspect he was a little ****ed at me because i decline some missions from him. Funny behaviour isnt it?
Also, i now see that i am not getting any Tech2 Components anymore as mission bonus reward, only money and low cash. I will probably have to wait until they finally "forgive" me.
All these "unregularities" after declining some missions might be because agents might have some sort of AI which handles such events over time.
Anyone else had such experiences? |

The fact they gave you a combat mission isnt that unusual, all agents can give combat missions, courier ones might give a combat mission once every 20 or even 100 missions depending on your "luck". I wouldnt worry so much about them seeming to "punish" your refusals, i dont think that sort of thing is programmed into the agent code :)
A tip i would try though if you want to improve your rewards is this: try switching to another set of agents that you have high Eff Quality with. I have had great results with this all the times i tried it when my agent rewards have dried up. Many others have commented on the same thing.

There seems to be something to it though.
Now i keep getting kill missions more frequently.
And i still am not getting any T2 component rewards. And i already did around 20 more missions after the declined.
I am doing enough missions per day that i can claim to see a change of pattern there |

There is something to it, but not because you turned down a bunch of missions.
With a navy Agent and 9.50 Caldari navy rating, I am pulling more bloody courier missions than I care to think about.
Nevermind the fact, that it's been three weeks at least since I've seen an implant, after averaging about 100 missions a day.

100 mission a day? lol you dont lie to us a little? let the mission last 15 minutes (its very short time for l3 mission but hell) so 100 misions will take you 25 hours to complete, as a day have 24 hours and you need sleep little and so on i think you little lie to us Its only possible if you have **** loads of minerals in hangar and agent gave you almost all "bring minerals" missions

6 missions for 6 agents simultaniously - 12 misssions per hour (but, believe it, it is very hard work and stress to coordinate the missions)

About the rewards:
To my knowledge, for every mission you decline, you got to do 2, possibly 3, missions to make up for that.
Untill you've done enough missions to "make up", you'll get isk rewards only.
As I had refused about 100 missions for my agent - I rather switched... :P Yggdrassil |

Lol, well i declined about 2-3 per agent and did at least 20-30 afterwards. Should be enough to "make up". But well, it seems like im getting T2 rewards again. A little late but good to know there is the chance for "repair" :P |

Edited by: Fire Hawk on 10/05/2004 09:47:13 For the kill missions rate, it depends on what department is ur agent. For example, i use 2 agents L3 in "command" section that gave me 95% kill missions like "slaver", "show no mercy", etc... important kills...
For the 100 missions a day, yes if u play all the day. Me do about 30 missions average in 3 hours with 3 agents at the same time. I ask work to the 3 agents, check the routes, and accept 2 or 3 missions regarding the route compatibility. That can drop u 3 implants at nearly the same time.
Nota : I noticed that Agent implants drop decrease if u have too much standings (+8.00)... Not sure but to notice :)
