Can we have a forum subsection for Empyrean Age?
Also: For those who haven't found it yet, there is an 'Empyrean Age' in-game channel (though I'm pretty much the only one in there right now).

We didn't get a sub-section for any of the other expansions, so what makes this one different?

The other expansions applied to everyone, so they were more general. Not everyone is interested/will be participating in Empyrean Age content. So we should have Faction Warfare section for those who will be engaging in it, just like we have a Missioning/Exploring section for that crowd, etc.
I thought the reasons would sort of be self-evident.

Excuse me, but going along the same line, the patch that introduced capital ships did not apply to everyone. Not everyone is interested/able to fly one. The same goes for the patches that introduced Outposts, POS, Conquerable stations, booster-manufacturing, COSMOS etc.
Everyone can choose to participate in what new content a expansion brings, but that doesn't make it any more or less special than the other expansions...

Now wait a minute...if we have a pvp subsection then the forums will be unbalanced and we will need a carebear subsection. Then there will be an expansion followed by a swing of the nerfbat.
Next thing you know CONCORD will have a subsection and will be monitoring the forums to try and keep peace. Eventually they will get a boost and the other two subsections will be nerfed some more and then...
Everybody will return to Eve General Discussion to complain about the expansions and nerfs in the other two forums and whine because CONCORD is dropping donut crumbs all over the pages.

Consider that this is it's own system, and is exclusionary and doesn't really fit in the game as it is now.

A lot of the elements you mentioned do, in fact, have sections which are separate from General Discussion. "Science and Industry" for POS structures, "Missions and Exploration" for COSMOS, etc. Following your argument, should all that stuff thrown back into General Discussion? No. FW is a distinct enterprise and it makes sense to give it its own section.
I read General Discussion when I want an unfocussed hodgepodge of topics, just to see the range of things that are on people's minds. But when I have a question on skilling or fitting out a ship or when I want to see what's up in the alliance wars I go to those specific areas. I would like to see Empyrean Age content consolidated in the same way.
