Do you want to do your own thing and have friends around now and then ? Do you want to have fun ? Do you want to play the casual laid back way ? Do you want to stop thinking about how often you log on and what times you must be on ? If answers are NO, stop reading now. If you are looking for a corp or ordinary alliance, stop reading now. Otherwise carry on... There is a way to achive those things you want, i will tell you how to turn your outlaw character into a pirate freelancer extraordinarie. 1. Leave your current corp. 2. Train corporation management to lvl2. 3. Start your own corp with a nice looking name and logo (skulls are popular). 4. Put your main, alts or closest friends into this corporation. 5. Make sure corp is not larger then 5 members, this is a maximum allowed size. 6. Apply ingame through alliance tab for membership. 7. Make a reply in this post about who you are, and a short history about yourself and the ones in your corp. 8. Join channel MAFIA, ask questions, or chit-chat while waiting. 9. When your application is accepted, say hi in alliance chat and undock. 10. Find targets. 11. Kill targets. 12. Repate step 10 and 11 and enjoy. Now you ask, what are the benefits ? I will make you a few good points. 1. Gang up, when you want with who you want, no CEO telling you where to go and what to do. 2. Alliance Umbrella, find friends within alliance, learn from others, teach others. 3. Alliance claims no space, no one is forced to stay in a spot on map. 4. Set up a gang of alliance members, use eve voice and you are good to go ganking. 5. No Alliance goverment, no Alliance meetings, no "big plans", no goals (yes this is a good thing if you think about it). 6. The members decide on their own if they wish to invite others in alliance to ops, camps or other activities. 7. The members decide on their own where to live and with who they wanna play. 8. No corp size is bigger then 5 members, this is done to keep bigger corps from trying to run the alliance in other ways then intended (se below). 9. Also corp size is kept small to ensure this is a true freelancer outlaw alliance. 10. There will be a killboard up once we are up and rolling. Use it to see who is the best to team up with. 11. The alliance members can operate in 0.0, low sec empire or empire, pirating and playing bad guys is what we do. If your first thought about this is "What the heck is this good for ?", then read again until you get the point. This alliance is not like anything you have seen before and it will not suit every pirate and their needs, and frankly if you can't understand the philosophy, don't join. Requirements: 1. Corp max size 5 members, preferably you and your alts or closest friends. 2. Skillpoints, no requirements 3. Teamspeak, nahhh, we use eve voice when we got a need, not mandatory either though. 4. Experience, well its up to you really if you wanna die trying or spank while gank. 6. Timezone, we are a multinational alliance even chinese are welcome. 7. Age, diper free citizens and above. 8. Activity, play when you want we dont care as long as your corp pays the 2 million/month alliance fee into alliance wallet every month when we ask for it. 9. You can be outlaw or legal sec rated on player, we do pirate, how you do it is your problem. WELCOME MAFIA Website

For me, it looks like a big NAPfest, with no real goal appart from restricting your potential targets by leaving a part of the universe unable to attack/be attacked by. However, this can be a lot of fun with FW, if you made it able to operate as a fifth "faction". If I see you guys put effort in making it big, grouping, etc, I'll try to convince as many as possible. I have lived in 0.0 and hate 250+man blobs.. they call them fleets, reminds me more of the british and the lines of death they used to walk in. I currentelly live in lowsec excusivelly, not cuz of my sec status just cuz I like the danger factor. I do hunt on occasion and thats why Im pirate. I may end up taking on a few more pilots, friends of mine if they ever get sick of the 0.0 thing.. or anyone looking to learn Lowsec gang warfare, using logistics and tactics not just numbers.

Yarr Slarti, the old PC failed because because coprs wasn't willing to work together on alliance ops. I think it got something to do with the size of the corps. If you have a bigger corp, moving to a place for alliance op is more hassle and you got your little part of space you wanna hold on to. In the new PC, smaller corps will hopefully make the members more mobile and dynamic when it comes to ops. There will not be mandatory ops, so we might not see a large scale fleet for a starter. but as time goes by i hope we can share some fun now and then working on larger scale. POS killing spree, or total lockdown of a region would be fun to try out. I am not saying we are gonna takeover space and hold it, just have sum fun for a week or 2 if we get enough interested members for those kindoff things. MAFIA Website

We will accept larger corps, just make sure your corp encourages the members to work across boarders within alliance. This means letting members of your corp go elsewhere and gang up with other alliance members as they please. (We do recommend 1-5 man corps to make use of this alliance philosophy in best way).
