Hi everyone. Im scanning the moons in my area at the moment. Is someone able to kindly post the ranking of moon minerals from best value to lowest? Thank you!

Edited by: Imperator Jora''h on 05/06/2008 04:09:13 Honestly don't bother.
Only a very few moon mins are valuable and those are very nearly exclusively in 0.0. More than that they are all static. Nothing changes. Anything remotely good (Dysprosium and Promethium kind of) is taken and guarded. To get something good you'll have to fight to take down their POS and then defend yours which for a Dysp moon is near impossible as they are insanely guarded (likely you will crash the node before you could pull it off).
We recently crunched numbers on moon mins we could access in low sec versus Jita prices and the cost to run the POS was higher than we could sell for (really). Not sure how/why folks sell lower than costs to produce, particularly for this stuff, but that is the way it is.
But if you want the values just look on the market in Jita...they'll all be listed there for you.

because if you want to throw up a tower to hold sovereignty (or do research or something). paying for half the fuel by moon mining may be worth it.

Try going to the science and industry forum all the details are there, you won't find anything of value that isn't already been mined ------------------------------------------ Sig removed as it lacks EVE-related content. Mail [email protected] if you have questions. -Hango

Not all mineable, all subject to the totally random generation system, you'll have about 2-3 days of gold rush after which the big boys will come in and smash up any poses on nice moons. ------------------------------------------ Sig removed as it lacks EVE-related content. Sisi's moon minerals don't match TQ's, so you can't scan out moon mins early.
